I frequently run up to Market Basket for their plate lunches. They put out a menu every Tuesday in an advertising flier but they have multiple proteins and veggies available each day.The Liver & Onions and the Fish is always very good.

Hollier's has a really good buffet. They always have a variety of seafood and gumbo. If you're not in the mood for seafood their is always something else on the buffet to choose from. They also have a dessert that comes with the Buffet. They have two locations to choose from. One on Ruth street in Sulphur the other on City Service hwy.

Richards used to be a lot better than now!!!they changed chefs and owners used to have great seafood platters,sandwich,french fry were chrips. Now there food is good but not great seafood platters are smaller and the taste just isn't there had good service and place was clean if traveling threw town there are other better places but in a pinch good place to eat

Nice little diner right off the interstate. Easy access on and off. Great food and fantastic lunches. When in season, some great crawfish! All types of seafood to choose from. Large variety too. Great little gem in Sulphur.

Our waiter was excellent and all our favorites were cooked just right. Lots of moist chicken pieces in with the dumplings and the bacon on my BLT was crispy and plentiful. The apple dumpling we split was huge! Close to a good hotel too.

We got in a little late and one restaurant refused us service after 8 pm. They recommended Novrozskyâs Hamburgers, which is open until 10pm. We walked in at 8:55 they were cleaning up, but agreed to serve us. Burgers were pretty good, fish tacos were pretty good. Stuffed potatoes were pretty good. Hay, when itâs late and staff are willing to serve you pretty good food, that gives them a pretty good review!Thanks guys. What an excellent surprise! Stopped to get a bite driving from the cruise port to Houston. Belinda was our waitress, helpful and attentive. Giant plate of fish and shrimp with a side of pistolle. Hot and Tasty!! One plate would have been more than enough for two people. Hubby says the po-boy was excellent, stuffed with shrimp. Great food and half the price youâd pay in Houston!

We never go to the Lake Charles area without eating at least one meal at Hollier's in Sulphur. It is worth the extra miles if it works out that way. They have the best buffet money can buy for the price anywhere this side of Vegas. There are always some gumbo and Cajun dishes fried seafood and the salad bar is included. The lunch buffet is $10.00 each and all the food is prepared from scratch. They have a great menu if you do not want the buffet with all types of selections also at very fair prices with large portions of food. I can't say enough about this place, great food at a great price, great service, what are you waiting for this is the go-to place in the Lake Charles area.

Because we read about the many reviews given we elected to try it out. Its a nice casual like food restaurant and store. Found some items needed for my gumbo recipe. Now, reviews stated that samples would be provide. However, the young lady behind the counter was less then helpful, no greeting, and she was not having a good day. We asked for a sample a got a sample of attitude. And so we made a purchase of the items from the store and left. It was both our first and last visit to the store. I would not recommend visiting the store if the front counter can not make everyone feel welcomed.
