Too bad, Algoma was a fun experience. Ambiance is absent, even tho' the bar is a bit better. This Skaliwags is located in a small strip mall on Lineville.We arrived and sat at the bar. Tried a wine and picked a second, which was a bit funky. Bella showed us to our table and to her credit, told me my wine didn't look like the one I ordered. She brought the correct one. Love Bella! She explained dishes, was very helpful and attentive.Two of us got the Wild salmon special with squash risotto, which was lovely and tasted as good. Two of the four in our party liked their food, but weren't wowed. I thought the special was great, but food is not the only part of dining. Diners like atmosphere and this place doesn't have that. To our benefit, we did have a wonderful server, which definately was a plus.

First time guest....it was raining cats and dogs and the place was full. There were guests of all ages and nationalities and everyone seemed to be extremely happy. Then I received my breakfast and I understood why. It was delicious. Service was great, friendly, and coffee was HOT. I will be back....

I came here for the Sunday brunch. They offer a large assortment of breakfast and dinner food items with desserts. The price is $16.95. You can get a great slice of prime rib or ham and the chicken is excellent. There is a salad bar section. You can also get unlimited glasses of Mimosa for $8 or make your own "Bloody Mary" from a garnish bar for $9. The servers are very friendly, accommodating and are on the run to pick up your dirty plates from the table.Hi Stoogeg3,Thank you for visiting us for brunch. stopped around 4pm - not to busy - drinks and meal. I thought the food was a bit pricey for what you get. Bartendar was good - refills on drinks - We Sat at the bar and ate. Good service

Wanted to let people know that they have extended the parking to the east of the building and now have a nice outside bar and smoking area. Parking before was on a gravel lot and know expanded with black top. Good food and normal prices for drinks.

Went to Barley's Deerfield Diner for breakfast. It was a roomy, cute place with a big menu and reasonable prices. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The staff was very friendly. I think many locals go there as they seemed to know the customers well. The carpet needed to be vacuumed but I am sure that is because it had been a busy morning.

You are greeted by high ceilings, a wall of wine and plenty of natural light when entering. Traditional seating is available as well as bar seating and outdoor patio seating. The chicken salad naan made with door county cherries is a must try. The salted caramel bacon ice cream is already calling me back!

Staff was great, quick with drinks and carefully took my pizza order (I'm a bit picky how my pizza ingredients are placed on the pizza). Came exactly the way I said and was done to perfection. Definitely worth a stop because it leaves the chain pizza places in the dust.

Our tennis group came for our end of year dinner out and Michael, our server, was attentive and flexible. Everything went smooth and timely.Ordered a glass of Katherine Cab after trying a different one. The Katherine was perfect. I ordered the pork chop with a Caesar salad. Everything was great. The Pork chop was juicy and flavorful.Everyone raved about their meal...I can't say enough about Chives...the food, the atmosphere and the wait staff all made our experience amazing.

Made reservations in advance even though I didn't think it would be terribly busy. Labor Day evening is usually quiet at fine dining. We were seated immediately and they did put us in a booth at the window facing Lambeau, as I had mentioned in my Open Table reservation. The site also asked if it was a special event for us and I had mentioned it was our anniversary. The Hostess wished us Happy Anniversary while seating us. The food was excellent. The menu has been increased since our other visits, adding some interesting and great sounding items. We totally enjoyed our evening and will be going back again in the near future. Our server was excellent and added to our enjoyment of the evening. It doesn't have to be a special event. They will make it special!!Dear Retired11yrs,Thank you so much for sharing your feedback.
