Lancaster PA Restaurant & Smorgasbord 85 years ago... Anna Miller served chicken & waffles to truckers as her husband repaired their rigs. It was a simple dish, but it was always served up with a smile. Today our tried & true recipes may not be as simple,

Join us in the dining car - a relic from the Pennsylvania Railroad - for authentic railroad fare from across the country and around the world. Casey Jones' has fresh, fun, affordable fare sure to please all ages.
In my opinion it's just average so with that I think it makes it slightly overpriced. I had a veggie wrap that in my opinion should have been a healthy choice but it was literally dripping grease as I was eating it. I'm sure there are some good things on the menu so instead of 2 stars I will give them 3...I may try it again one day. Rob,I was disappointed to hear you were not pleased with your veggie wrap, they do tend to be quite juicy. On your next visit I would highly recommend our 8 oz. Certified Angus Beef burgers, which I have heard more than once described as âlife changingâ, our pulled pork, in our signature Caseyâs Birch Beer Barbecue Sauce, or our home made soups and shepherds pie, to name a few. We look forward to serving you again. All Aboard!Todd PrickettOwner, Casey Jonesâ Restaurant and The Red Caboose Motel

Had occasion to visit both the restaurant and the bar and was extremely pleased. Bartender Jennifer quickly became a BFF. My one cousin wanted a drink poor Jen had never heard of, but she gamely gave it a try...and succeeded! Good food, good service, fair prices...we were very happy.

We ate here twice, for dinner and for breakfast. The sticky buns at breakfast were awesome. The rest of the breakfast buffet was just okay, nothing special. They have a dinner buffet, but we opted to order from the menu. My burger wasnât that good - meat seemed to be a pre-prepared patty out of the freezer. My sweet potato fries were good and my husband said his beef and mashed potatoes and gravy was okay. If you like buffets try Dienners. Because of the sticky buns we give them 4 stars. Since we didnât have the dinner buffet, we canât rate that feature. We are so sorry to see you did not have the best possible experience at our restaurant. We are glad to see you enjoyed the sticky buns so much. Thanks for giving us a try and taking the time to share your feedback. We hope you have a great day.

Hershey Farm's Grand Smorgasbord features both classic PA Dutch dishes and modern flavors. Enjoy our original recipes, hot entrées, freshly prepared daily specials on the Grill, a hot carving station, crisp salads and homemade soups on the Soup, Salad, Go
We went for my free birthday dinner. It is probably one of the best buffets in Lancaster county. The Amish specialties on the buffet are delicious! My husband enjoyed his pork barbecue meal, too, which was a very big sandwich, generously stuffed, with a big helping of fries. Our server, Lisa, was friendly and seemed to enjoy her job. Birthday time is probably the only time we would go, however, because the buffet price is a little too high for us.

We went because of the excellent reviews but I have to say it was the worst. My pattie melt was flavorless. The bread was soggy and I didn't want french fries, no substitutes. I tried the french fries and they were cold. Since I didn't want them in the first place, I just left them. My husbands bowl of chili was awful. Nothing but tomato and again, no flavor. The fried green beans were sticks of fried breading. With all of the fantastic restaurants there, we were sorry we chose this one. There were a lot of out of state licenses plates in the parking lot, ours included. I didn't even bother taking pictures, we were in and out quickly.

Went there after seeing the Choo Choo barn. We had sandwiches (clubs, reubens) and they were all good. Fruit salad was also very good. There are no fries, just bags of chips. Overall, Iâd recommend if you are looking for a quick bite and a sandwich.

My wife's prime rib sandwich was something to behold! It was a huge piece of beef, twice the size of the brioche bun and perfectly prepared. The ambience at Fireside is very warm and the service is friendly and efficient. Check out their broad selections of draft beers, too! Just because the restaurant sits between a Clarion Inn and a Holiday Inn Express, do NOT mistake this for a hotel restaurant - the kind where they feel little obligation to serve a good meal because they figure they've got you, anyway. This is a classy place that serves good food and drink!

We stayed at the Carriage House Motel and used our breakfast voucher at the Speckled Hen the next morning. I got the French toast and my son got eggs and hashbrowns. The only reason I docked this place one point was because it took an awful long time for the food to come out and when it did it wasnât hot. It seemed like it had sat there waiting for the waitress to deliver it. Other than that it was enjoyable,

Java Junction Coffee Bar + Grill What started out as a bakery ( formerly OCB Cakes 11.5 west main) has now expanded and moved to a larger space with more to offer! We now serve breakfast and lunch daily. Breakfast is served until noon Wednesday thru Sunda
This is a small local restaurant with really good food and wonderful and friendly service. It also had home made scones, banana and zucchini bread.Everyone in our family of 9 enjoyed their food including the grandchildren. The only negative is they do not serve pancakes or french toast which is what my husband prefers to eat for breakfast.
