This is a bar and has a limited menu and limited beer on tap. the Philly sandwich was excellent. It was fun to see the old safe behind the bar and the wonderful wood staircase as you enter the building. I would not recommend bringing in kids. there were some interesting characters at the bar when we went in for lunch. everyone was friendly though.

The pizza was delicious and well priced. The best deal is the ice cream. A great selection of flavors and great price. A nice treat for a walk along the lake.

We offer lakeside dining and cocktails with a spectacular view of Lake Pepin, the Mississippi Riverâs largest lake. Please relax and enjoy our newly remodeled and coastal themed dining room or the outdoor patio
This is a good location with a great view of the water and the paddleboat. The food was good too, but they need to practice better sanitation. There were flies that would not leave you alone. They were on the deck and the table. Others were swatting as well. It is likely not easy to keep the outdoor surfaces clean, but you have to do it! A fan would have helped too. Staff was very nice and everything else was fine. But it totally marred my visit.

Came here with a couple of buddies. Had the chicken skewers which were quite good and loaded with veggies. Went well with my beer. Waitress was friendly but service from the kitchen was slow that night considering there weren't that many people in the place. Music was a bit too loud for our taste too. We'd come back.

Fantastic food at a reasonable price! This place is probably the most expensive place to eat in Lake City, but it's worth every penny. Four of us ate here last Friday. We made reservations and were seated right away. Every one of us loved what we ordered. Seafood Paella, Lamb chops, crab cakes, scallops, calamari, and beet salad. All were wonderful! That Paella...holy Hannah is that some amazing stuff! I was the last one to finish my meal because I was savoring every single bite of this dish. I highly recommend it. I think the next time I come here I'll order the lamb chops if available. I was amazed at the amount of meat on the plate and they were perfectly cooked medium rare.If you're a bourbon drinker, check the drink menu. While they don't have a huge menu, they do have some quality picks (Baker's, Basil Haden, Makers, Knob Creek) at a lower prices than most places. My suggestion is to go for the Knob Creek Single Barrel for only $8.50. That was cheaper than my wife's wine!Oh, and lets not forget that view. It's an incredible view you won't find at many other restaurants.
This restaurant was formerly "Gelly's," which had built up a faithful following. Now under new management, it is coming into its own. Admittedly, it may have had a bumpy start last year with unpredictable business hours and occasional under-staffing. Yet this year things have improved considerably and it's now regaining lost ground as a local favorite. When I was there in September 2017, it was immaculate, friendly, busy -- and the food was delicious. Way to go, Rebecca (the owner)! I'm looking forward to returning there again.

My Mom and I drive to Stockholm in the fall every year. We ended up going on a Wednesday in November this year and many options for dining were closed. Lucky for us, Lena's (formerly Gelly's) was open. Mom had the pulled pork and I had a hamburger. Both were generous portions and delicious! Fries served with my burger were hot and tasty! We wanted to have pie at the Stockholm Pie Company but it was closed so we opted for the Apple Crisp and ice cream at Lena's. Wow. SO good! We shared and there was easily enough for two people. Lena's wasn't our first choice but we were glad we stopped in. Tasty food, reasonable prices and excellent service! We would happily return. Two thumbs up!

Chickadee Cottage Cafe, Lake City, Mn On the Great River Road
We were in Lake City camping for the weekend, a very wet and windy weekend. So our focus moved from hiking and sightseeing to eating. Pie in Stockholm, Wisconsin, snacks at the local bowling alley to watch the Gophers play football, and some inside grazing. So when it came to Sunday morning the Chickadee seemed like a good option. We were not disappointed. On Sundays they have a brunch without the line... family style. Food is very good and plentiful, but in smaller portions upon demand. The old cottage setting provided a very pleasant atmosphere to eat and chat, making for a nice way to finish our wet and windy weekend. Oh... the staff and own are pretty good too. We will be going back.

We arrived in Stockholm before the stores opened so walked the streets and came upon this fun bakery offering Swedish donuts. We each chose a couple of items and enjoyed then in the whimsical garden setting between the bakery and café. It was a beautiful morning to relax and take in the fun garden and baked items.

The Railhouse Grill has a very large menu. We had a table of 8 and everyone loved their food. I had the pizza and it was GREAT. The waitress was helpful and kind. Afterward, we went to the lounge and heard great live music. The kids got free ice cream. It was blue and they loved it.
