Husband, son, and I stopped here waiting for Amtrak to pick us up.Son had 2 orders of their hashbrownions - signature dish. It was awesome. See photo. Husband had Denver omelette with pancakes. Also delicious. I had cheese omelette, hash browns, sour dough toast. So delicious.Everything is clean. Awesome atmosphere. Hand sanitizer on table, YAY! We will definitely visit again.

Farmers cafe offers delicious breakfast served all day, with a variety of lunch and dinner options. We have many homemade options and strive to deliver great service to all of our customers.
Great soups and it's nice to be able to get a baked potato instead of fries. I highly recommend the french onion soup. They are very good about getting orders right. Good salad dressing. The only drawback is that the food is inconsistent. Sometimes salads are great and to rave about, other times it's as if they were thrown together and the lettuce not fresh. Overall, great food. When it's good- it's really good!

Small cafe on the west end of Stanwood.
I was pleasantly surprised with the Stanwood Cafe. It doesn't look like much, but the food and service were great. I ordered the "homemade" corned beef hash and it was one of the best I've had. My friend ordered pancakes and they were huge and delicious! I've tried all the local breakfast places and I like this one best.

Stopped by Stanwood Grill for Happy Hour...smallish place with tall ceilings and comfortable feeling...we enjoyed happy hour drinks and wound up having a nice early dinner as well...grilled Ahi and Ribeye Steak really hit the spot...don't miss out on this place...nice people and good food...

Hard to find the avocado on the avocado burger. Mushrooms on the drunken burger were equally as scarce. Nothing really special about the burgers but they were greasy. Not juicy, but greasy. The fries were soggy and over seasoned. The beer selection is good. We only hope they clean the beer lines frequently because with 20 taps there will be some slow movers. The ordering process needs to be ironed out. It was not clear that everything needed to be ordered from one register. So ordered 2 beers, had to open a tab so we could return to our table to sip on them while deciding what to order. Then had to return to the line to place our food order and close our tab.The biggest hurdle are their prices. This is Stanwood, not Bellevue! Unless they adjust their $15.50 burger prices and $7.50 pint prices they will be closed in less than a year. The ambiance is cool and the location is good.
