Visited this establishment with a group of 51 friends coming in from a long day of touring in Washington, D.C. Despite the size of our group, we were promptly seated and efficiently served. All four diners at my table ordered steaks (three filets and one sirloin), baked potatoes, and salads. With one very slight exception, our steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered them (three mediums and one well done). One medium was a little undercooked and appeared more like medium rare, but was not so red that the diner returned it to the kitchen. Judging from our finished plates (emptied of their contents) we all enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was outstanding. He kept the tea, water, and fresh hot bread coming during our meal and seem ever present to serve our needs. Forty-two minutes after entering the restaurant, our large group was finished with their tasty meals and headed back to the tour bus. I would highly recommend this Outback Steakhouse.

// &pizza® is an anti-establishment establishment built on the renown of its creative pies and craft beverages, localized shop design, and the strength, unity and vibe of its living-wage-paid, ampersand-tattooed Tribe. WORK HARD, LIVE FAST, ORDER QUICK. T
Had a family lunch here; the pizza was good, kind of nice to see the subway / chipotle style assembly line used for pizzas. The pizzas were good and flavorful. The sodas were weird- common, can't I just get a coke, and the place was a mess (this was Sunday around 12:30pm). There were un-bused tables, dirty tables, stuff spilled places, and none of the employees were doing or did anything about it.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Had a great dinner off the Chef's experimental menu - steak, ramen, and cabbage. Creme Brulee was perfect. Very nice and quiet for conversation with music playing in the background. Great service, attentive, and not rushed, and helpful with creative ideas by Kelly H.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was excellent and I loved all the history and pictures that were displayed throughout the restaurant. I went for brunch and had the chicken and bisucits drizzled with honey with a side of grits and macaroni and cheese. The grits were so so creamy and probably the best I've ever had. The biscuits were fluffy and the chicken was juicy and fried just perfect. It was so great to find a restaurant serving great southern food in the northern virginia area which is really hard to come by in this area without going to DC or Maryland. The atmosphere and service was very inviting and the owner was absolutely wonderful and even took the time to tell us the history behind a lot of the family photos in the restaurant. If your looking for good southern food definitely check this place out.

Three of us were here recently for lunch for the first time. First, the seats in the booths are so uncomfortable, that after eating we had to cut our usual lunch chat short because our knees and legs were hurting--the bench seats are low and deep with very slim pads only part way on with the rest of the seat being bare wood. Owww.The food was average with reasonable prices; what you can find at lots of fast casual places in the area. I ordered the Raspberry Ice Tea and almost passed out with how sweet it was--I had to ask for water to dilute it just so I could drink it. They have no Gluten Free bread and their menu is super heavy on sandwiches, burgers and breaded stuff. So I had the Prime Rib sandwich with no bread. It was OK; the meat was sliced very thin but was still somewhat fatty. The accompanying fries were good. My friends both had the Crab Cake sandwich that they said was fine but nothing special. The service was OK; the place was fairly empty. Won't go back.

We were so pleased when the venerable Bob & Edith's opened this spot in Springfield and have been many times since then! And are always gratified to see that the clientele is keeping the place always busy . . . . What's not to love about a good, old fashioned diner?!?!?! Choose any of the breakfast dishes anytime of the day or night and you will be more than satisfied! Ditto the delicious flat top grilled cheeseburger (a personal favorite) - add some fries or onion rings and you're all set. If you want to add true decadence to enjoy with your burger, add a chocolate milk shake - absolute heaven!Service is always friendly and efficient - can't say enough good things about this or any of the other Bob & Edith's locations!

Delicious Chicken Parmesan Sub! Very tender with a crunchy breading. Had to get some extra marinara as I thought the sub was a little on the dry side but that did not effect the great taste, I just like mine with a lot of sauce. Fries were good. Service was quick. Prices were reasonable with the portion sizes.

Waited about 15 minutes for an outside table on a Friday night. Not too bad considering.Server was super friendly, and offered great recommendations for beer & food.I tried a German pilsner that was delicious! For dinner, I tried the halibut which was incredibly tasty and almost creamy. My dinner companion opted for the mac and cheese and had no complaints. The menu is extensive at this place, and there are tons of things I want to try on future visits.I'm glad this visit was positive. Food was fantastic and the service couldn't be beat. Food prices aren't too bad either. Recommended.

Disappointed even after the wait. I had the shrimp grain bowl. Not good. My brother had the bacon cheeseburger which was ok. I think they are trying too hard to be upscale. I liked the old silver diner. I will try it again though. Thanks for the review. I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the food you received. Could you please contact me at [email protected] so I can learn more about your experience and what wasn't good with the shrimp and grain bowl. I've been eating at Mike's now and then for 17 years. I must say, I've always really loved their crab cakes. And, now, not so much. There were four of us at dinner. Everyone else was pleased, but I ordered my usual crab cakes and they were truly pitiful. I'd been thinking about them for the entire 2,500 mile drive to Springfield and was SOOOO disappointed in their quality and taste. Come on, Mike's, you can do better than this.Hello,Thank you for taking the time to review Mike's. We always appreciate feedback from our guests and I am so sorry to hear that we disappointed you during your most recent visit. One of our managers would like to personally reach out. Would you be willing to share your phone number with us?Sincerely, Taniya GraysonGreat American [email protected]
