A popular restaurant in a town known for its Frank Lloyd Wright historical sites and an internationally famous theater.
This just happens to be the only place for breakfast in Spring Green. That is o.k. because they are amazing. The Omlets are awesome! They have 3 or 4 kinds of fresh homemade breads each day.

# 72 â Rumble Seats Rock & Roll Drive In â Spring Green, WI.âA step back in time:Americaâs first drive ins began in Texas during the 1920âs. It became all the rage to drive to a restaurant, be waited on while in your vehicle, and to eat right there. âCarhops would arrive by walking, or on roller skates to take each order. And would soon return with sizzling hot cheese burgers, golden fries and mouthwatering milk shakes. The drive in craze peaked in the 1950âs and then met their demise at the hand of fast food giants such as McDonalds. At one time drive ins were found nearly everywhere in small town America, and have all but disappeared. âRumble Seats Rock & Roll Drive In of Spring Green is one such place where the magic of yesteryear still exists. Drive-up to be waited on by a car hop, or go on inside. The interior of this particular eatery is full of cheery colors on the booths and walls. Reminders of movie stars, singers, and music groups are everywhere: Elvis Presley, Bogart, Dean, Rat Pack, Supremes, Morrison, Stooges, Oz, Durante, Chaplin, Jones, Mama & Papas, Brenda Lee, John Wayne, Joplin, Blues Brothers⦠all pointing back to a simpler time in life; and the food? Very good. I settled for chicken tenders with curly fries while the children had burger and corn dog kids meals. It was great visiting âRumble Seats, to take a step back in time.

Arthur's is your place for steaks and seafood. The best in casual dining since 1966. We are a classic supper club with a new twist offering the best of the old, and the new. A local favorite for prime rib, lobster and complementary, fresh homemade bread f
At Arthurâs, I had THE best filet Iâve had in a very long time and my husband was delighted he was able to get Prime Rib on a Thursday night. Our meals were cooked exactly to our requests and We both had Parmesan crust (extra charge). Even the au jus is delicious. Service is great; just be prepared to spend time and a little more money on your dinner, but itâs so worth it. Thereâs an extensive menu and a full bar-thereâs even a take away. We ate at Arthurâs on our way to see a play at APT, on the recommendation of a friend from Chicago. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Spring Green! Thank you for choosing Arthur's for your dining experience, we know you have many choices in our area. We strive to make each meal great, and our staff wants every guest to leave happy. Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, we love to see the 5 stars!

We were coming from House on the Rock, heading towards Wollersheim Winery. We had a quick lunch at The Shed and thoroughly enjoyed our wraps. I had the buffalo chicken and my friend had a chicken caesar wrap. Our waitress was efficient and kind. Service was fast. Food was good. It's a no-frills little place, but it was what we wanted.

Great food, strong coffee, and charming atmosphere! The Break of Dawn restaurant served large breakfasts that held us over through our travel back. The bread is homemade! The server could have smiled more, but overall this was good. We sat in a corner which was dedicated to a couple with the last name 'Kaul'. That corner was special it seemed, and the family memorabilia in that area was worth the inquiry. If that table is available, then I suggest asking for it if there are just a couple of you.

This cafe is in the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. We had lunch between tours. Theyâre is no table service, You just order at the counter and your food is served to you. Service was prompt and very good. The mushroom ragout was good, but not great. I would have preferred more mushrooms and chicken and fewer onions. The hamburger was very good. The view of the Wisconsin River is lovely.

Have breakfast at the charming small cafe-you order at the counter and they bring it to you. Home made quiches, breakfast wraps/sandwiches and also great offerings for lunch. Check the menu and the counter board. Thereâs also wonderful products ranging from goat soaps to stationery to jewelry to jams, jellies, and UK products. Very popular with locals and tourists alike in downtown Spring Green. Thank you for your lovely description! Come again sometime.

Freddy Valentines is located in the historic beautiful State Bank of Spring Green. It has a very eclectic menu, always made from scratch, much of it local, and during growing season much of it is organic. FV's has daily and evening specials. Freddy's offe
Freddy Valentine's is a great place to eat in Spring Green. The building was a bank and many of the bank design elements were cleverly used in the restaurant decor. Food is a nice mix of entrees and sandwiches. We usually eat in the bar area at a high top table, but we also enjoy one of the 2 dining areas indoors. Freddy's can get packed when there is a show at American Players Theater, but they work hard to take care of the crowd. We just need a bit of patience, but we know we are not forgotten by the staff. Often Freddy's has a nice special. I recently enjoyed blackened catfish with roasted corn maque choux and rice. Very nice. The fish fry is also quite good, with generous portions of p-fried deecod, citrus slaw and fries.
