Great location to stop by if you're traveling through the state. The Local Gourmet is mid-way between exits 14 and 15 on Rt. 84. Terrific selection of fresh, locally sourced food for travelers and locals. Diners and shoppers have the option to dine at The Local Gourmet with its rustic interior or purchase from the tasty and healthy prepared options. Options for sandwiches and salads offer choices for all tastes. Items for purchase in the market offer locally sourced choices of unique pickles, drinks, olive oils and more. Definitely worth the stop.

We have been to Shadrachs many times over the past 2 decades. We just wish they would make a decision about what theme they want to go with and stick with it. If they would visit a place like the GW Tavern in Washington Depot, and gain ideas from them, they could replicate so much! It is a great looking facility that has wonderful potential.

Just moved in to the area and decided to try for lunch. The sandwiches are made fresh they are well priced and of s decent size. My only bad comment is the dust on the wall decorations and chair rail is so thick I doubt it is ever cleared so I have to think the rest of the place is dirty. I doubt I will be back because I canât eat in a dirt restaurant

My husband, adult daughter and I went on a Friday night. I made reservations last minute, but they were only moderately busy. I had a bowl of lobster bisque, which was just all right while my daughter had the French onion, which was good. For meals, my husband had the scallops and shrimp over penne which was very good, my daughter the swordfish which also was very good. I had an artichoke appetizer for my meal, which I did not care for. When it was time to clear the table, I had only eaten a piece of one artichoke. The waiter asked if I would like them wrapped and I told him no, that was ok. He asked me if I did not like them. I responded "not so much", but felt I had just ordered wrong. When he came back with the bill, he informed us that he had taken it off the bill. Great PR as far as I'm concerned. Will definitely go back, especially since I saw they have a patio!!! I might add my vodka martini was very good as well and my daughter enjoyed her wine.

Our Passion is for making our guests fresh, delicious, and locally sourced dishes and drinks while letting them relax in a beautiful atmosphere. From Farm fresh eggs and grass fed beef to our locally sourced cupcakes and everywhere in between. Maggie McFl
Being new to town we decided to have lunch out. We picked Maggie McFlyâs after hearing someone mention it. The lunch special of soup and sandwiches was great. The soups were hot and tasty and both our sandwiches were great. The atmosphere is nice and the service good. We will have try it for dinner soon

This is the style of sub shop I've enjoyed for most of my life -- excellent ingredients, good bread, and nice counter staff. My fave is the #6, but they are all good.

I took our Father here for Fatherâs Day late afternoon. Very surprised that there were just two other tables since our other visits, albeit a few years ago, it was always very busy. Now I know why. Fatherâs steak was half grizzle covered with onions as a camouflage and my grilled shrimp was way over cooked. Service good, food terrible.

Average diner. Came here because our 2 favorites were closed on Mondays. The food was OK but nothing special. Came for weekday brunch. The "cheeseburger soup" was unusual, but OK (really did not taste like a cheeseburger - more like chicken soup with hamburger instead of chicken and cheese sauce added). I got the Pastrami Cheese Omelet with feta cheese, which was very good (lots of pastrami and cheese) Service was average. My wife got the Lox, Peppers and Onion Omelet and was not impressed at all. The service was sporadic, but acceptable. The restaurant is NOT handicap-accessible. Not sure I would return.

The laurel diner never fails to please for breakfast. Whether you go in for just a plain bacon, eggs, home fries and toast, or want to try their cinnamon French toast, everything is cooked just right. The ambiance is typical old time diner with prices to match. Everyone is friendly. Great place for breakfast and has good lunch sandwiches too.
