Excellent food; very very friendly staff. Nice decor ... not super exciting or outstanding but clean and nice. Brunch was excellent for everyone in my 5 person family

This small, charming restaurant is located within an historic building that was a stagecoach inn in the 1870s and a speakeasy during Prohibition. You instantly feel that ambiance when you enter. We sat near the fireplace. That lovely atmosphere is easily matched by excellent service from Patty and outstanding food at this chef-owned establishment. One of us had the cream of potato soup of the day (terrific!) and the other had the Caesar Salad (getting extra anchovies when Patty learned of fondness for them). The strip steak was cooked to perfection (accompanied by mushrooms, creamed spinach, and a baked potato). Equally outstanding was the pan-seared tilapia topped with feta, black olives, and roasted peppers served over sauteed spinach. Wine was good, though not great. We loved this place and will definitely return.

I took my aunts here for a delayed Mother's Day breakfast and the food was wonderful.I had a chicken fried steak with poached eggs and a side of potatoes that could have fed two people. Everything was delicious. The steak was extremely tender and full of flavor, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were very crisp. Everything was seasoned correctly. The service was very attentive and could not have been more pleasant. Everyone at the restaurant was extremely nice.

On a Saturday evening, a grey-haired band was playing oldies like "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" while baby boomers danced like they were at a wedding (all the patrons seemed like regulars). The band was actually pretty good, but it's not the quietest place to enjoy a meal, even in the back room. The food was NJ-diner quality, which means pretty good. I had monkfish as a special, which is rarely offered, and it was well prepared. The salads with meat on top are huge, enough for two or three meals. All of it was fairly pricey for what it was. Burgers, fries, and the famous roast beef sandwich (which I didn't try) were better priced.

While traveling on a motor coach tour of NY City the Holiday Inn was the designated hotel for our stay. Often the restaurants attached to a hotel are not the best but in this instance we couldn't have had a better opportunity for dinning. One night during our visit we were on our own to choose the dinner venue. Many in our group chose Gabriel's and everyone I talked to enjoyed their meals. The cocktail and menu prices were very reasonable. All of our meals were plated well, more than adequate in serving size and most importantly tasted great. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly, had a good sense of humor and served our meal without any hint of pretense. If we lived in the area we'd likely dine here often.

As one of the most savory Italian restaurants Teaneck, NJ has to offer, Pancetta ensures responsibly sourced ingredients are carefully crafted into great value dishes with authentic flavors. We are ideal for large groups or romantic private dinners.
Located in the Marriott Glenpoint, the Pancetta is very close to home. The menu is varied and they have a very good breakfast buffet as well as the ability to order full breakfast from menu. It's a nice spot.

Texas Roadhouse is a legendary steak restaurant serving American cuisine from the best steaks and ribs to made-from-scratch sides & fresh-baked rolls
We called while on the road and were seated promptly. Our Server was very nice and polite!Their house salad is fresh. The Sirloin steak was perfectly cooked medium as we liked. The sweet potato and rice sides were good. While the half a rack ribsâ meat was falling off the bone, we would have preferred if it was not as smothered with sauce. I requested for two pieces of bread to take home for my husband and was gladly given a basket to go with their cinnamon butter.

This place opened in 1946 and outside of keeping it clean, I don't think anything has changed since 1946. The size, the taste, the stools, and the counters are appear to be vintage. If they are not, the restorer was talented.I also don't think pricing followed inflation because it is affordable! $10 get you 2 burgers, fries and cheese and drink. The people who work here are amazing. I have no idea how the grillmasterlady keeps track of who orders what but she does!A fun and inexpensive meal.

The menu special on Wednesdays is a $10 Loaded Burger, so we decided to drop by BJ's for lunch. The wait staff has a good memory and recognized some in our group, which makes you feel welcome. The table collectively ordered four Loaded Burgers, two classic brisket burgers, and one each of the new menu offerings, a Bistro burger ("beef patty with applewood-smoked bacon, goat cheese crumbles, caramelized onions, tomatoes, spinach, pickled red onions and roasted garlic aioli on a toasted parker house bun") and a Mushroom Swiss Burger (beef patty with sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes and roasted garlic aioli on a parker house bun). Everyone seemed to like their burgers. Although presentation was good and it was tasty, I did have one complaint: when I first picked my burger up getting ready to take a big, a very large amount of grease drained out of it and made a pool on my plate. I suppose some of it could have been from the Swiss cheese, but certainly not all of it. I'm not sure how they are cooking them, but it was a big turnoff.Burgers are served with a generous portion of fries (I learned yesterday you get free refills), which were crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and perfectly seasoned. I can't imagine getting a refill. Service was fairly good and reasonable quick and at $10, the Loaded Burger is a good value. I think next time I'll try the Bistro version.
