If you think you're the first to discover the newly hip, downtown warehouse district scene, think again. This quasi-healthy restaurant often has lines snaking out the door, it's so popular. And yes, with enough self-discipline, you can eat an extremely healthy meal here: salads and vegan options abound. But most people fall victim to their unforgivably-sinful dessert options, baked on the premises. You think it matters that the coffee in your caffe latte is organic when the other ninety percent of it is pure, inorganic butterfat? Oh, please. No matter, Urth Caffe is an Arts District staple, and while you may not come away any closer to spiritual enlightenment, you definitely won't come away hungry or disappointed. Parking, if you are as valet-phobic as I am, can be a problem. But after that apple tart that is no less deadly because it's made with .001% whole wheat, a walk of a few blocks would probably do you good. The neighborhood is safe, in spite of appearances; in fact, it's part of the allure. Go for it!

Consistently delicious from the waffles and chicken to the sides. (I personally like the grits and red beans). Parking can be a little challenging during busy times. Worth the wait. Don't get discouraged if you see people standing outside. They have everyone waiting for a table stand outside after checking in (it's not because it's too crowded inside.) They only let people who are waiting for to-go orders wait inside. They seem to turn the tables over pretty quickly.

If you feel assaulted by corporate restaurants and color design consultants and frozen food prepared 3 states away and shipped to be warmed or microwaved, then Pop's Cafe is a great alternative. This is how all small restaurants used to be before they were owned by financial conglomerates. While I ate there, I didn't ask to meet "Pop's," but I'm pretty sure there must be one. If not now, then at one time. This place is small and there might be a wait on weekend days, but it's worth it. This is food prepared to taste good and not just to fill one's stomach. The day I was there I was craving oatmeal with a side of sausage and that's what I got. But, I was looking at the other conventional breakfasts going by and saw that they were looking excellent. This is a place not to be missed. Make a special trip to go there if you are in the neighborhood.

Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.
Five of us had a long dinner, not because of the service (that was EXCELLENT) but because we talked so much and ordered a lot. The best part was at the end when we ordered an apple huckleberry pie and it was heavy on the apples and very light on the huckleberries. I teased the waitress that her tip would be based on how many huckleberries we found, and at the end, she came out with a little dish of huckleberries that she found on her search in the freezer! Cutest thing ever. I even gave her a hug upon departure. The food was very good, the atmosphere was great, getting to know our new friends in such a place was a wonderful, but our waitress was a pure delight. I wish I could remember her name. Nakeene or Nikaa or some unusual name. Two syllables I know.
For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
After a long day sightseeing there is nothing better than some tasty grub at a Denny's!! I've been to them in loads of different places and never had a bad meal and this one was no exception. I had the burger and fries and scoffed every last mouthful, washed down with one of their unbelievably good milkshakes. Needless to say this wasn't my only visit to a Denny's while I was on holiday.

Took my dad, sister, and I for a late lunch and had a great experience there. Super friendly, quick service...very accommodating for my elderly dad. Had a chicken quinoa dish that was so yummy. And got in on the 2 for $20. menu which was a great value. Management has trained their people right!
IHOP means pancakes and they probably do them better, and certainly in more varieties, than any other restaurant. Good dependable service and great food. Love those eggs and blueberry pancakes! Yum. ...

This is a very popular fast food restaurant. The burger was really good, I wasnt honestly expecting that. The size was significant, definitely above the average from other fast food restaurants. I reccomend it!
