Warning! This is not a "real" Krystal. It's a "Krystal Too" located in a strip building with no drove through. Which I guess is corporate's way of experimenting with one in a town?? This town could use a real Krystal instead of stupid Bojangles.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
I was pleasantly taken back by Huddle House, Soddy. I've traveled the highway and frequented many of these Huddle House' and Waffle House'. Here in Soddy you'll find some personnel that are fantastic and pleasant. Eager to help and are really attentive. The Coffee here gets a "10" just wonderful, not chalky no aftertaste. The Eggs, Hash Browns and Raisin Toast also very good. If you're in Soddy during breakfast time, be sure to stop in. You'll like it here..........
Wife and I were looking for a good place to get lunch near our shop. We had heard that Ricko's had moved into the same place that a restaurant we liked used to be. A friend had also mentioned that it was pretty good so we decided to check it out. We entered through the front door and were delighted by the cozy feel. We were greeted with some mumbling from someone seated at a table in the back in front of the counter. I don't know if she was having a bad day or not, but she seemed very inconvenienced that we were there. Due to the extensive menu we asked for a recommendation and were told that everything was good. She was not very willing to engage. So we got a couple of calzones. They came out on styrofoam plates along with plastic cutlery. I truly hate plastic cutlery unless I'm at a picnic. I usually always break the fork and sure enough, this was no exception! And then to top it all off, the food was not hot. It was warm, but not hot. I like my food hot! The calzones did taste good, and had a lot of tasty filling. We left feeling full, but thinking that Ricko's has potential.Customer service has got to be Paramount. Customers need to feel that the establishment is glad to have them there.I could probably tolerate the plastic ware if we were treated properly. The food was ok, it has potential too. I hope that Ricko's gets better, for we need a good place in Soddy. We will probably give it another try some time, in hopes our dreams come true!
Woke up hungry and craving a quick and tasty, breakfast place near you? From fluffy, hand-rolled Made From Scratch⢠Biscuits⢠to crispy bacon on our classic breakfast platter to breakfast favorites that you can't get anywhere elseâ¦Hardee's® serves food ju
We like to go there after church on Sundays because they serve breakfast until noon and we can usually just squeeze in before they stop serving it. That way we can choose to eat breakfast food or lunch food. Hardee's has the best hamburgers in this little town we live in so it is a hard choice.
Ordered the special of the day, meatloaf, red skinned mashed potatoes, maccaroni and cheese, pinto beans and a Krystal type roll. (9.99), the meal came hot and the maccaroni and cheese was in a white cheese, excellent. Pintos were from a can, didn't eat those, left bread, meatloaf was good but had an usual seasoning that I cannot describe, also had green peppers and onion like a meatloaf should. Potatoes were a little too garlicky but were good. My daughter ordered the chopped steak which included fries (6.99) and a side of fried okra (2.00). The fries were absolutely delicious, the okra was fried to perfection. The chopped steak had a very strong taste of some unknown seasoning which the ketchup covered up. We had a waitress named Veronica and she was nice and helpful and patient with us while deciding on our food choices. We would definitely recommend and would try something else on a return visit. I would love to try the hamburgers as I remember a Scotties diner when I was a child growing up. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained. A full menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner is available all day which is nice for a variety of choices.

Most everything is good here although some menu items seem overpriced. In my opinion, the breakfast, burgers, Patti melts and BBQ are the shinning stars here. The sides and slower service are exactly what you would expect for a small town, super casual eatery. So be prepared to slow down a bit and go back to better times.

Are you interested in a great burger without all the overhead that typically drives the cost over $10 at many places? Well, this is your place!!! You actually know youâre biting into meat, one-half pound of never frozen beef. Fried are good too, a serving is enough for two people to split. If you like pork skins you must try an order of their fresh cooked skins...theyâre still making popping sounds as the servers places it in your table. If Soddy is too far out for you, thereâs another Mervâs on Mountain Creek Rd.

The screen door is no longer in Soddy Daisy. It is located in Rhea County Tennessee. The address is 449 Delaware Ave Dayton Tennessee. The restaurant has different food items that you would not get at other restaurants. You can check out their website to see what they offer. Limited children's menu. Setting is older home with porch and country setting.

Great home cooking with a down home, laid back feeling. We have buffet style dinning from 11:00 to 8:00 Tues-Sat 11:00 to 3:00 Sun, closed on Monday. Lunch and Dinner prices 1/2 price for children under 12.
I hadn't ate here in several years. So today I decided to go her for lunch. It was always good food, but today it was exceptionally good...Fried Chicken, Chicken and Dumplings, Chicken and Dressing, Salisbury Steak, Broiled Fish, Cabbage, Turnip Greens, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Pinto Beans, Corn, Rolls and Cornbread, Vegetable Soup, Cole Slaw, Hominy, they have a small salad bar and a dessert bar, and an Ice Cream Machine. I am sure I have left some things out. The was a favorite of mine, but my favorite was the chicken and dressing, it tasted like my grandma made it. So it you love good old southern cooking. I highly recommend it. Lunch Senior price including drink was $10, including tax. Dinner is $2 more I believe. I would give it 5stars.
