The food is inventive and we'll balanced, the drinks are wonderful and the service impeccable. Its also very aesthetic Ally pleasing and has a great, low key vibe. You can have a full course meal,a few a la carte items or just a drink/coffee/tea,and they will treat you with the same degree of hospitality. Great spot.

Fine dining Steakhouse featuring Prime USDA steaks & seafood, plus martinis & wine, presented in a warm, sophisticated setting.
My family and I had reservations for 7:45. We arrived and were promptly seated. The hostess was professional and friendly as was the waitstaff. We ordered an appetizer of Beefsteak Tomatoes and Onions. I actually prefer my tomatoes and onions sliced a bit thinner however they were good and fresh. My husband ordered a NY Strip and I ordered the Bone in Ribeye. Along with our 5 year old daughter we ordered Mac n Cheese and Creamed Spinach to share. Everything came out sizzling hot. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. We didnât need or did we use the house made steak sauce. Sides were equally wonderful. Even our daughter (that hardly eats meat) loved the steaks and said she couldnât choose which tasted better because they were both delicious. Price is on the expensive side with steaks averaging about $62 each and sides about $18 each however it was sooooo worth it.

As residents of The Roxy hotel we ate both dinner & breakfast at the Roxy Lounge. Dinner was lovely - i ate hummus & vegetable crudités & had several of the Roxy cocktail. Breakfast - bagels & cream cheese were divine!! The atmosphere in the Lounge is wonderful - there is always music - either live pianist, jazz group or a singer.Such a great place. Highly recommended.

Surprised there were so few decent breakfast/brunch places in Midtown. Went by Johnâs and had a great time. Good typical diner experience. Food was fair to good. Eggs are (not sure why) very good. Fresh OJ! Decent sausage links. Smaller place but very efficient. Worth a visit!

First of all: GRACE!!!! youre an amazing waitress, so kind and sweet. thanks so much for your service. We dine there over the weekend before catching a play... my husband had the lambchops and i had filet. Food was delicious, didn't taste processed was cooked to perfection. I'd say the only con (not even the restaurants fault) was that the way it's set up, sound travels. we were able to hear the drunk men that were sitting across the dining room so i found myself screaming over them to have a conversation with my husband. but overall, i'd definitely come back

The restaurant is owned by brothers John and Tommy Greco along with their longtime friend Christian Tanno. The Greco name should ring a bell: Chef/Restaurateur John oversees the beloved Village eatery Philip Marie (open 18 years) that serves up delicious
Nice friendly restaurant providing very good steaks, the Filet Mignon was superb. The whole experience was good until payment time. Unfortunately the experience was ruined to some extent by a waiter who chose to overcharge an item on the bill &, instead of discreetly apologising & removing the overcharge, took the option to loudly & repeatedly 'argue his case' in front of all the diners. Regretably the Management, who where in earshot, chose to ignore the issue until we asked the waiter to call the Manager to our table - only then did they remove the overcharge from the bill.As stated above - good food but I would suggest that all potential diners keep an eye on their bills. Scoring would have been higher if the overcharge incident had been dealt with properly.

My wife and I visited Club A Steakhouse on a recent couple's visit to NYC. The rating on TripAdvisor got our attention (it was #1 in NYC at the time) and Bruno's story is an interesting one. The atmosphere is fantastic! They use fine details like real candles at every table and have a live two-string and saxophone band playing soft Jazz most of the time during dinner. Sets a great mood.We had salads to start and they were very good but not really exceptional. No complaints though. After the salads, and unsolicited, the chef provided a mushroom ravioli appetizer that was very good.Between this and the main course, there was a rather long wait. But we were chatting and enjoying the music. Then came the steaks and sides, we both had filet mignon and we got mac and cheese and mushrooms. The steaks were very well done with an excellent char on the outside and proper temperature inside. After the main course, again unsolicited, we were offered a variety of desserts. Tiramisu, chocolate cake and beignets. They were all good. All considered the meal was great. The only blemish being the long wait between the appetizer and the main course. The atmosphere is top-notch and the food is well above average.Great work Bruno!Hi Cbeard,Thank you for your kind review and I appreciate you choosing to eat at Club A while on a trip to NYC! I am happy you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again. Bruno
