Stopped by here for lunch. Very small, just a couple of tables(hence why it's called a takeout) I got the grilled cheese-no velveeta here. Excellent. My husband got the Italian Torpedo. Also excellent. A sub that actually has meat on it-what a concept! ***Google will send you to South Elm and they are really on North Elm which is a couple of blocks away.

We've lived in Central Oregon for 2 years. And we gave found our favorite places to have a meal. After a show at the theater, we stopped at Chops. They had just opened the dining room, so we were the first ones there. Our server, a very nice young lady, who we didn't get a name, was excellent. She was there when we needed her and stayed away when we didn't. The wine, port and food was excellent. Their fresh baked rolls were amazing as was the desert. The restaurant looks very nice inside and appears to have been updated the fit the Central Oregon décor. If your looking for a bit of an up-scale place to have an excellent meal, try them out. I know we will return.

Cork Cellars is a wine bar and bistro, our main focus is giving our customers a warm and friendly environment to eat, drink, and socialize. We strive to create delicious food and have an incredibly wide selection of affordable and fine wines.
We went there on a Saturday evening because we were interested in hearing the entertainers scheduled to be there. Arrived 45 - 60 min. before performance was to begin. Ordered wine to sip while we perused the menu. Ordered appetizers and said we would wait to order dinner. We figured we were there for the evening and no need to rush. Enjoyed our first glass of wine. Wanted a second, but no one offered. (This is, after all, primarily a wine bar...you'd think they'd offer wine at every turn.) The jalapeno artichoke dip was delish, and not as spicy as you might think. By the time we ordered dinner, the place was filling up. Dinner for me was to be mushroom risotto with shrimp. It came with chicken. Was sent back and returned with shrimp. If I was looking for protein, I should have stayed with the chicken...it looked great and was piled high. The shrimp were 4-5 medium sized...for the price of the upgrade, I would have expected a few more. It was, however very good, the risotto was creamy and very tasty and I brought quite a bit of it home as it (as always) was very filling. Hubby had Thai chicken...also very good. Somewhere near the middle of consuming our entrees we were offered (and ordered) another glass of wine.Part of the problem is that one server took our orders while a different one delivered. Even when serving or taking orders at the tables next to us, our original server never looked our direction or checked to see if we needed anything...despite our many attempts to "catch her eye" (we are not prone making loud requests, but did attempt a reasonably voiced "miss, excuse me..")The place is small, and made smaller by the space taken up by the musicians. There appeared to be two servers for the 10-12 tables inside plus several outside tables. We were told they were understaffed (obviously) and the second server was as attentive as she could be considering I don't think ours was one of her assigned tables...she was doing a lot of filling in and apologizing for the first server. There was no explanation given for the understaffing (was someone ill or didn't show? did they just not schedule enough?) whatever the reason, it seems we get that excuse quite frequently (I guess no one wants to work in food service in Central Oregon these days). We also waited quite a while to get our bill, and then to have it picked up for processing. I would go again, but not if I'm in a hurry.

An Old Fashioned Family Style Restaurant serving homestyle American fare breakfast, lunch and dinner
We come though Sisters several times each year and usually eat here. We have always liked this place because of the variety of selections. We were last here in March and the service was so slow. Our server kept apologizing that they were short staffed that day. This trip the food was even slower, again our server kept apologizing for the delay. She brought us warm homemade applesauce because we were waiting so long for our food. When the food came, my omelette was runny and my sons biscuits and gravy was ALOT of thick, lumpy gravy with the consistency of thick oatmeal. We like this place a lot so hope they figure out the staffing issues.

Great food, made from scratch. Lunch is casual, with sandwiches, burgers and lots of salads featuring the best of seasonal produce. Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday. Full bar, wine and local microbrews. The back patio is one of the best kept secret
Friends had recommended the Depot Cafe, but we were really disappointed with the food. This is a place where you order your food at a counter and it is brought to your table when ready. Those working there were pleasant enough, but the food was just so so. I doubt that we'll go back.

A fresh take on the old west... This restaurant and bar occupies one of the most photographed buildings in Central Oregon. We serve great steaks, locally raised 100% grass-finished, all-natural burgers, local craft beers on tap and vegetarian and gluten-f
We were passing through town and heard about this place. The service was great, good prices, and food really fresh and tasty. I would definitely go back. Well, we are glad that you heard about the Sisters Saloon and that we fulfilled your expectations! Thank you for writing a review and thrilled to hear that you would come back. We are looking forward to it!

Something is just so off. From the Brussels sprouts that came without the stems removed, to the $350 tab for a table of 4 adults and 3 children - the whole meal was underwhelming. Add to the mix - table service that was under-attentive and seemed put out. It was one of those sort of evenings when you think to yourself, âwhy did we spend that much money on [that] meal?âOh, and we brought our own bottle of wine. So the whole evening was just off. I shouldnât be so cynical - as the meatloaf and seafood stew weâre both excellent; but by and large, the consensus at the table was . . . Meh.

I wrote a critical review a year ago after a disappointing lunch soon after ownership had changed hands. We just went back for the first time since then and left quite pleased with both the food and service. We will happily return.

Fashioned after an old west livery stable, this family-friendly brew pub offers a wickedly good menu of chef-inspired comfort food and handcrafted ales. Salads, fish & chips, burgers, pizzas and more!
We were staying at Five Pine Lodge and Three Creeks is very convenient. Service - 3 Stars - We ordered for takeout, and my wife's salad didn't have salad dressing or silverware. The burger had no sauce. On another night we did order pizza that we really enjoyed.Atmosphere - 5 Stars - very nice atmosphereCost -4 Stars little high, but not badFood - 4 stars Food was fair. We arrived without reservations on a night with music and were lucky to get a table. Check ahead for reservations so you can be assured of a great meal in a comfy spot. Weather plays a big deal here as most of seating is outside and uncovered. Blankets are available for those who wish them. Our server was very helpful with suggestions. We decided to share an entreeâ, split a salad and order an appetizer. Good choices. The Brussel Sprout skewers were quite good. The beet salad hit the spot and the chop and marinade were the best. Through the evening, the entertainment began. We enjoyed their music and it was a perfect complement to the dinner. Wine choices were very nice.Service is done team style with everyone pitching in as needed. We met the owner and had fun discussing children growing up, leaving then returning home. Fun times. If we were locals we would be regulars. Thanks, again, for the excellent service. It means a lot!
