I've been visiting Buffalo Alice's since the 80's when it was located on Pearl Street. It moved to the remodeled 4th street area with all the other cools restaurants and shops in downtown. The place still looks a bit like a dive, but it does not have that run-down feeling. There are two reasons to visit Buffalo Alices: Pizza and craft beer. They do a really good job making fresh pizzas. It's not as good as Jerry's or El Fredo's, but it's up there. Having craft beer on tap makes it that much better.Service here is two stars. They don't care and or even try to make small talk. They do the minimum to get you a beer and take your order. The rest of the time they huddle and talk with each other or get on their phone.

This is the classic greasy diner. I don't mean that in a bad way either! Great prices and great breakfast items. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns which she loved. I have the meat lover omelet. (ham, bacon and sausage) with an order of corned beef hash. The portions were so large neither of us could finish more than half our order (except the hash; I finished all of it because it was amazing), and it was inexpensive! All that food for $24

M's has a warm, vibrant atmosphere and a delicious menu that will suit any palate. M's has hosted many memorable evenings for my friends and family including a 16th birthday celebration for our daughter, quiet dinners for two, laughter-filled meals with friends and a night of spoofy fun at their themed Murder Mystery dinner. Sioux City is fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant!

Modern and industrial meets art deco with a unique selection of elevated cuisine of fresh and local ingredients. Hand crafted beers brewed on site for the traditional beer lover to the craft beer connoisseur. Italian wood-fired oven, classic Neapolitan pi
Stopped on a Saturday night, 6:30 or so. 20 Minute wait for an outside table. Place was REALLY busy. The beer list is extensive, several sours, 3 stout/porters and quite a few IPA's, at least 16 on tap the night we were in.Ordered dinner, pasta, chicken rouladen, the brisket and bacon burger and the sausage platter.Burger was phenomenal, sausage is made in house and has excellent seasoning. The Rouladen was very well done, but a bit overcooked and the pasta was on point. We didn't get a chance to try the pizza, that will be next time!

I went to Sneakyâs recently and stumbled upon their lunch buffet. They donât have a huge selection of items, but everything I tried was great. The fried chicken and ham were both wonderful, and they also corn, potatoes and gravy, au gratin potatoes, and potato salad. It was all under $10!

We are a local, family owned restaurant serving classic coney style hot dogs, homemade chili and bottled soda since 1918.
I love that Sioux City has wiener houses. I cannot find them in the South anywhere. They have hot dogs, but not conies. I ate here twice while back in my home town visiting my dad. I love the steamed soft buns, runny chili, onion bits and swipe of mustard. The grilled hot dog in the middle of it all is awesome. If the conies are not enough to win you over, the people working here are phenomenal. They smile, engage and make you feel welcome. On my second visit, my daughter wanted to Facetime to watch the process. The employees were happy to waive hello, show the process of putting the hot dogs together and say hi to my daughter.I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! There's a reason it has lasted 100 years.

We were there with a large group and had pre-ordered. The St Louis style ribs were good and didn't need any extra sauce. Bread pudding was also good served with ice cream. Service was a little slow even with the pre-order.

Was in town on business with a colleague from Germany and chose Minervaâs based on other reviews. We were greeted to be advised that they were managing flow so would be a short wait. I asked if we could sit and the bar and was told we could be orders would be delayed just the same. We were greeted by a friendly bar server who promptly got us a drink and menus. He soon returned to take our order! The place was not full so not sure why the flow control at the door? My colleague had a burger and I had the sirloin steak which was cooked to my likely. The meat was a little tough though which was disappointing. My colleagues liked his burger so that would be my choice if I return.Thank you for joining us this summer, harleyboy50! We appreciate your patience with us in managing the wait, as the guest experience is our #1 priority here at Minervas Food & Cocktails. Please let our management team know if there are any menu choices that need to be adjusted, as we want each of our guests to leave satisfied and happy, every time.
