food and beer not bad. came into restaurant with cell phone; left without it. manager promised to follow-up. Not a word back. Rosemary,We do apologize that you lost your cell phone somewhere between being at our establishment and your next destination. As stated when we received a call inquiring of its whereabouts. Unfortunately, we did not find your phone and nothing was ever turned in. We deal with quite a bit of lost and found and always try to find personal items back to their owner, had we found your phone we would have given you a call to follow-up. If you would like to discuss further, please email me directly at [email protected]

Every town and city has a Murphy's. Clearly Murphy's is that neighborhood bar that has really good pub food. When I got to Murphy's, mid-afternoon the bar was filled with the local regulars enjoying their favorite beverages and solving all the World's problems. By the time I left. I already felt that the World was a better place than when I had entered! Quite a few of the tables had friends or families having a late lunch. The atmosphere was quite light and happy. The staff was always right there and very friendly. I ordered the "Daily Special," a pork sammy. A pork sammy in my "neighborhood bar" would be called a pork tenderloin sandwich...but, a "pork sammy" definitely has a good sound to it. The sammy was a very large pork tenderloin, perfectly breaded and fried. It was placed on a grilled bun, with tomato, lettuce, onions, and pickle slices. The plate also included a very large portion of perfectly deep fried fries. Both the sammy and fries were very good. I will definitely return to Murphy's on my next tip to Silverthorne.

It can be because we went at a super crowded time although they were able to seat us relatively quickly. But, the service was beyond slow. However, I don't rate places because you have a bad waiter/waitress as it might be a one time thing, who knows. However, the food was just so-so and yet expensive. The cocktails were the same. It is a popular place but for us nothing special and there are other restaurants in Silverthorne, Dillon, and a short drive to Frisco much better.

We stopped by for dinner and I'd recommned calling ahead as they are pretty busy. Its a historic old hotel (bar and brothel). You pick out your steaks or seafood (they have tuna and shrimp as well). Our original server was a ltitle slow but we gave her a pass becauuse she had four tables. We cooked our steaks and shrimp upstairs. The average steak is $25 and a skewer of beef is about $16. You can add a skewer of shrimp for $7. A baked potato is about $4 and onion rings I think were $6. The salad bar is free so load up on veggies and grill them yourself rather than order them saute. The toast is good if you butter and garlic salt it and then grill it when you do your steaks.Dinner for two (two steaks and a shrimp skewer) with three sides was $90 wth three sodas after tax. The owner/manager was friendly and you pay for the privilege of perfectly cooking your steaks. Here's the thing, it was me and my husband and my kid (we split a steak) and we had the best time upstairs in the old brothel area cooking our steak and it was a LOT of fun. And we learned that 3 minutes on each side is a REALLY long time when you're just watching something cook.Would we go back? YES!

Good selection of tasty pub food, a good selection of home brewed beers. Service was good and reasonably priced too. Staying overnight in local hotel The Bakers Brewery was in walking distance, reviews were good so we went and pleased we did.

We stopped here about 8:15am on a Thursday for breakfast on our way to the airport. Although they were rather busy, our orders (Skier's Breakfast Sandwhich and Salmon Eggs Benedict) were delivered in less than 10 minutes. Will stop here again on our next visit.
