We had been in Texas for several weeks and were heading out of state so stopped here for one last Texas BBQ. We have enjoyed all of our other BBQ stops but this was not the case here. The place is cute and run by very nice ladies. My wife got the half chicken which perhaps the best deal in the place and she said it was good. I got the 2 meat plate with Ribs and brisket, cajun rice and potato salad. The ribs had very dry parts on them. I would say 1/3 of the meat was not enjoyable. Their sauce was good. The brisket was dry too. Its my fault for ordering the cajun rice because it was hot. Bland at first taste then comes the heat. Again, It was just not to my liking. The potato salad was fine but if you don't like mustard based potato salad don't get it.It is the #1 rated place in Silsbee so maybe we hit them on an off day or maybe we don't like West Texas Style BBQ.

Great all beef hamburgers and their homemade onion rings were great too. Nice place hidden on a Lake at a RV park. Nice lake views and a working juke box. There is a soda fountain too.

I took a group of older adults for a lunch outing. The manager met us and welcomed us to the restaurant. All but one in our group enjoyed their meal. We had a great time, and the food and service was very good. The drive was enjoyable, too.

The last few times I've gone here the service has been terrible,today was the worst! Our waitress never smiled. She barely got all of our orders in before she left the tAble.. When we asked about our appetizer,she was rude about it.. I had to go to the bar to get my own beer.... They no longer have draft beer and the 12 oz bottle beer was $3.99! That crazy price! On a positive note-The food was pretty good.

run down and nasty. Its a Taco Bell / KFC restaurant. Service is terrible and the food follows closely behind. Go next door to whataburger if you want fast food.I'd be worried about getting sick eating here with the cleanliness of this establishment. How has this place been missed by the health and food inspectors?
