Stopped in for lunch on Saturday around 12:30 and was seated right away. Our server was very prompt, we asked for a few minutes for our drinks and she said no problem,,,, Finally after ten or fifteen minutes she returned to take our drink orders and our lunch orders...Not the brightest, she kept screwing up my husband's order....She made the comment that she was apparently distracted by my husband because he asked for options that are not available (French dressing for salad). Not very professional...

My first experience at panera bread was in another state and it was very disappointing. I have been to this location a few times and never had a issue. Service is friendly and quick, quality is good. I usually go for the salad/soup/pasta pastries are good as well. Not crazy about their sandwiches and bread. I don't like the hard crust that your jaw is tired after chewing so long and hard and don't know what the theory about a thick hard crust is, so I suggest staying away from bread or sandwiches they use the thick hard crust on and go for the other items.

Great breakfast menu that will suit everybody! Fresh fruits that taste like real fruit! Eggs over easy cooked perfectly! A real feat these days! Potato pancakes were a treat! Asked for them instead toast or pancakes, and the waitress said SURE! Friendly staff, who know how to please! Waffle was well done with fresh berries. Sausage and bacon had gr eat flavor! Iced tea hit the spot on a warm morning!

A group of us from work went to lunch to celebrate several birthdays. We called everyoneâs orders in ahead of time and they had an area ready for us as we came in. Everyone got exactly what had been ordered! The girls were on top of things! The food was great!

Expected a pleasant Thursday night dinner (4/12); used to enjoy everything about this place; will not go back. Unfortunately, we had the same experience as some other reviewers. When the manager of the moment came over and asked us how our meal was my husband showed her his salmon; he had the salmon on his Caeser salad. The bottom was BLACK, obviously overdone. Instead of saying she was sorry for it we got a lecture on how you should order the fish, on a scale similar to what steaks have. Never before did we do that, nor were we asked about it this time either!! I think a better approach to customer satisfaction was in order. Dry, burnt salmon is not something to excuse. His salad had all the dressing dumped in one spot also. Husband ate all around the spot but it was too much!!! So, he didn't finish his meal. My chicken tossed salad was all right; asked for the dressing on the side. The shrimp appetizer was good! None of our dishes were cleared as we ate; the place was not packed. AND in ALL our visits there we had to contend with MOTHS flying around, sometimes near our faces. Every time we went back we hoped they had taken care of this annoyance. NO!!! Used the last of our gift cards so we DO NOT have to go there again.

It had been quite awhile since eating here so decided to stop in. It was on a busy Sunday afternoon and service was excellent with our server Jensen, she refilled drinks, checked on us couple times with friendly caring attitude. Food was very good, I had the Parm crusted chicken and my husband had the Napa chicken dinner, we both had sides of roasted spaghetti squash which we loved, nice to have options like that instead of usual fries. My only negative comment was food could have came out at warmer tempature--everything was just warm, not hot as it should be and cooled down very quickly so that could be a problem but other than that was all good, thank you

WELCOME! Penn's Tavern is a historical waterfront restaurant, located on the beautiful Susquehanna River, just south of Sunbury, in Fishers Ferry, PA. Whether you choose to dine in our historic 1700's Room, our newley renovated Microbrew River Room, or on
I've been wanting to try this place for a while, but it has a reputation of being "expensive". My wife and I celebrated our birthdays (first visit for both of us) at Penn's Tavern in December 2018, we were both pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The staff is professional, but yet friendly. The food (taste) was very good, and yet it wasn't any more expensive as other local area restaurants in this same bracket. We will be excited to return in the Summer when we can sit with a view of the river. The only negative I could find was the parking lot. It's a rough (and very dark) walk from the parking lot to the Tavern. This hidden gem is every bit worth driving a little out of the way to enjoy a romantic dinner for two.

Surprised my husband with a birthday meal here, especially because they are an oyster bar! They had 4 different types of oysters that night...all fresh and prepared in a variety of ways. You can also get BBQ or pizza here. Service was phenomenal! Can't wait to visit again!

We visited Selinsgrove Brewing Company with family for Sunday lunch. The food was amazing! We started out with the spinach artichoke dip in a bread bowl. That was the cheesiest and richest spinach artichoke dip Iâve ever had! All of us non-vegans loved it! My wife is the vegan one and she ordered the vegan chili. I tried it as well and loved it! I ordered the chicken ranch sandwich. It was fantastic with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was also great particularly on a hot day. It was cool and dimly lit. Our waitress was excellent. When some of the food was running a few minutes late, she took two sandwiches and the appetizer off the bill! That is great customer service! We love Selinsgrove Brewing Company and look forward to our next visit!
