Not what it used to be! Prices gone through the roof....especially the lobster nachos and the crab cakes....portions are smaller....awning needs to be down so sun isnât melting the ice! This was a GREAT venue for many years but isnât getting the management attention it formerly did.

We were anticipating trying out this cafe above the sawmill. We are natives but had never been. We went upstairs and the place was super busy. We stood for about 3 minutes while the older hostess was in a frenzy trying to cross off names and call others to be seated. Another older gentleman wanted to help her..no go..she never acknowledged us..the man looked at us and started to ask us is we needed to put our name in but then just wandered off on another task. We didn't stick around to wait for them to get organized..I hate to see what the real summer will be like for them!

Been coming to seaside park for 60 years, yep the big 60. As far back as I can remember Betty and Nicks has been there for bait and tackle. They always have the best advice, products and we love their daily fishing reports. Always get my bait here when I am in the area .Pork roll sandwich always the best! Peace

Bum Rogers, spanning five decades, has been a unique, specialty house restaurant and the communal, spirit-lifting watering hole of the indigenous and migrating young and young-at-heart.We, the Bum Rogers Family and staff, continue to be dedicated to the p
Made the detour to Seaside Heights after a mobbed Six Flags caused us to exit before even dealing with Saturday crowds. Drove into Seaside Park and saw a lively Bum Rogers.Greeted upon opening the door and was seated immediately. They have a huge menu but also restaurant week so we opted for that. We each had a crab cake app, prime rib and the Connecticut lobster roll for the entree, and apple cake and bread pudding for dessert, all for $36 each. The spiked Arnold Palmers were quite refreshing. They just finished a new batch of bread pudding which was piping hot and awesome!Jeffrey provided solid service, music was at an enjoyable level, and tvâs all around kept college football nearby. They do have a lot of âgoodâ here, including a separate bar area in case the bar scene isnât your style, and another back bar and private event room for groups. The kitchen is in view but behind a glass wall which really keeps the heat out of the dining room. Free WiFi for guests and a follow up email asking how your experience was really the best way get feedback. For November (11/2) the place was basically full all night but servers and bussers and hostesses work on-stop to turn over tables and keep things moving. Restaurants make the same mistake over and over and cut front of house staff to save payroll dollars but Bum Rogers has extra on staff and turnover means more money for everyone. Open year round, we will stop again. Thank you for your visit and your awesome review!

I was there the last week in August 2018 with my 3 kids, aged between 10 and 13. I had a side of corned beef hash. It was from a can but they cooked it well on the griddle, making is slightly crispy. My son devoured a bagel with cream cheese and a Belgium waffle. He said the bagel was fresh but it looked like a Shoprite quality bagel. My youngest had some silver dollar pancakes; one of which was made to look like Mickey Mouse ears. She smiled at this surprise. Her side of bacon came with 4 slices instead of 2- another surprise. My oldest enjoyed her bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Chances are the waffle and pancake are made from a mix. The syrup was not real Maple syrup. Our table was clean and our waitresses were very nice. I walked out paying around $30 for food, a few sodas and a chocolate milk. Not bad for a shore town breakfast nook. Jimmy's is cash only, with mostly booth seating. Not a place for large groups. With several bagel bakeries on the island, I wish one of these breakfast spots would work something out with them. If local businesses banded together and promoted each other as well as local produce, it would be great.

Jumbo Sawmill Pizza We started out with the best on the boardwalk, then we made the biggest! The 27" Jumbo Sawmill Pizza isn't just pizza - it's a Jersey Shore tradition. Ocean Views Enjoy an unobstructed view of the beautiful Seaside Park Beach and Atlan
Ordered take out on a rainy Wednesday night and unfortunately and sorry to say, but sooo disappointed!Pizza and cheese steaks dry and tasteless. There are so many places available for this type of food, not sure I'll return. Have had hit and miss over the years. Pizza is large, but if it's not flavorful, it's a bust. Since the place was quiet this particular rainy night, it should have been a better meal, as there was no one rushing around and plenty of time to prepare a fresh tasting pie and cheese steaks.

After reading other reviews we stopped in for dinner. I was with my adult son and 6 year old granddaughter. All 3 of us loved our meals. My granddaughter ordered the adult ribs and wings meal. She devoured the ribs, disappointing my son who figured he'd be eating half. I had the turkey reuben, served open-faced with French fries. The bread stayed crispy and the fries were obviously cooked in fresh oil. Lightly browned with a nice exterior crunch and soft center. My son had the steak with a gravy that he was dunking his fries in. The service was attentive and friendly. Tonight's our last night in town and we unanimously decided to return to this great spot.

Serves Breakfast
Easy walking distance from boardwalk. Pretty empty so we were seated right away. Host didn't walk us to table just pointed us in the direction of our table. Both hosts I saw did the same with everyone. Food was typical breakfast at a reasonable price.
