Someone from our group said the Abbey has the best burgers in Southern California so we we went for lunch on a weekday and were pleasantly surprised. While Iâm not sure itâs the best burger in the state, every dish at the table was very tasty. From burgers to sandwiches and even the vegi burger bowl, everyone loved their food. The service was nice and there is a good selection of beer. If you find yourself in Seal Beach this is a must try.

Really enjoyed eating here. Great portions, reasonably priced, excellent taste, nice presentation and attentive service. What more can you ask for?Eggs Benedict ($9.65) was very very good. It included home potatoes. Freshly made. The Popeye Scrambler ($9.25) was very generous in portions and included 3 nice sized Louisiana hot links. We also ordered a bowl of split pea soup (4.95) that was homemade and delicious. They have a weird front door entrance, a kind of old split in half type of door that seems to want to go their separate ways when entering. But do enter.Parking is limited, all a matter of timing. They only serve breakfast and lunch. We haven't had a problem finding parking during the time they're open.

The Boathouse on the Bay is a steak and seafood restaurant situated on Alamitos Bay in Long Beach and serves an array of fresh seafood, steak, sushi, sashimi, oysters and cocktails.
Great food, great service, go at happy hour and enjoy great service. $10 drink specials including wine. The presentation of $10 appetizers were great, especially the crispy calamari strips and caramelized brussel sprouts. We also had a cup of clam chowder that was perfect! Nice, efficient staff.

Nick's has simple, delicious food. The menu isn't overwhelming with choices and I have not had a bad meal here. My favorite is the fried chicken, but the fish and meat are also fresh and cooked to perfection. The sides and appetizers are unique and tasty. I like the asparagus fries and the shrimp taquitos. It is reasonably priced and well worth the cost, for the quality of the food. They have a full bar selection as well.

Basic diner food (plentiful in portions) but the patio seemed really nice on a sunny weekend day. There was a bit of a wait for the patio seating, and we were hungry so we sat inside. It wasn't too bad, The view of the marina was better from the patio of course, but it wasn't too loud in the restaurant and the food came quickly. The servers were quick and attentive to us despite a full house. Parking was plentiful as well!

The vibe is so cool at Beachwood BBQ. Everyone is so nice. The menu is truly awesome. The smoked chicken is fabulous, by the way. This time, I took my mom. I had a wheat honey beer (yum!) and she had a glass of Chardonnay. We had the wild mushroom stew (OMG UNBELIEVABLY DELISHHHH) and I had the bbq chicken sandwich and she had the brisket sandwich. Seriously soooo good. I really like this place a lot.

great location right on Main Street Seal Beach...indoor seating and nice patio seating....even a walk up pastry/coffee counter if you can't stay...wonderful menu selections, plenty of choices, vegan, healthy, large portion or small, amazing pastries and coffees/teas. I had the Fitness Scramble and it was filling, healthy andcame with a pastry choice and fresh fruit!! I tried the pastry called the 'Breakfast bun" and it was flaky, cinnamony and out of this world.....staff was great.....be prepared to wait in weekend mornings - sign in at the hostess stand and take a nice stroll down main street or out to the pier......A++ rating for me!!

I have been coming to Walt's Wharf since its first opening in 1970! I leved nearby in Belmont Shore and for the owners, the Babcocks to be gracious hosts with a wonderful grilled fresh fish and many unusual appetizers such as the grilled artichokes. Even many years later, and having to travel from either Arizona or Reno, NV, I always go back to Walt's! Thanks Babcocks for such great memories.
