I have been going to El Hamburger place for over 30 years and they never disappoint. The only thing is the hamburgers have gotten a little smaller. The hamburgers are grillted to your liking and the salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles) comes on the side so you can choose how much you want to add. The French and Sweet potatoe fries, as well as, the fried onion rings are a must. The milk shakes are very good. Donât be put off by the appearance of the place. The restaurant has the best ocean view entering Old San Juan. Try to go around sunset. Enjoy.

Appetizer: tuna is good. Meat: we ordered a dry age porterhouse. Excellent quality of the cut. However, the porterhouse was half burned. I give 3 stars because for what you pay you simply cannot burn a dry age and if you burn it you should change it. Good variety of wines. Saludos...

Traveled from the Condado in traffic looking forward to a great meal. Not to be had. Appetizer crab cake stack was ok. Before we were finished our main course was brought out. The steak was on a small cafeteria plate, no garnish and swimming in butter. A good steak doesnât need butter. The crab cakes were on a similar plate no garnish and not that good. No decaf coffee available. We were then given a $200 bill. $50 for taxis.Total time in restaurant, 40 minutes. Waitress was nice. Return-NEVER Not the chainâs usual high standards.

While the food is always important and this didn't disappoint, what was unique about this experience was the length that the staff went to make sure we had everything we needed. Beyond that, both our server and the manager engaged us in meaningful conversation and that was a value add to our experience that we didn't anticipate. Thanks to the leadership that understands not only the importance of customer service, but that encourages real engagement. Made for a much better dining experience.

After eating at 4 other terrific local places in the last 2-1/2 days, I didnât have high hopes that our high bar could be exceeded, and yet it was! The mofongo (shrimp) was proclaimed the best ever, due to the amazing broth. The pork version was also moist and delicious. My grilled chicken Caesar salad was better than usual thanks to a garlicky herb sauce on the warm grilled chicken. Even the burger was great. The BLT Mallorca was smaller than expected, but good. Definitely save room for the particularly delicious coconut temblece. The frozen drinks looked delicious but we stuck with Medallas and waters. Twelve thumbs up!

It was fresh and delicious, we had a few drinks, including my first latte, and a dessert. Everything was good. I wanted to sit In this place all evening. I hope to come back one day.

Southern Style Smoke BBQ with a Caribbean twist. Right in the heart of the historic Santurce neighborhood in plain view of the famous 100 year old Farmer's Market "La Placita". Just minutes away from Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde. Come and join us
We stopped in on the way to dinner elsewhere and couldnât resist ordering the burnt ends, which were delicious!! Typically, Iâm not a BBQ person, but that Pineapple BBQ sauce took me over the edge. I had the Smoky Margarita (NOT my favorite). Next time Iâm just going to EAT!
