We had anticipated having a French set meal somewhere in Saintes, but we returned from the amphitheatre too late (1.30pm) for anywhere to serve us lunch, so luckily we happened upon Little Italy, which serves food all day.We sat inside as rain was threatening, but there were also outside tables. They have sandwiches, bagels, burgers etc that can be eaten individually or as part of a meal deal, which we opted for. We had a chicken/cream cheese bagel with good fries and a burger with fries ("best burger in a long while"), both of which were tasty and freshly cooked. We had a soft drink each and scoops of ice cream. Quick and tasty. Good service.

The only reason to go would be the decoration but the food is awful as well as the management here who harasses customers and is degrading to women. Avoid!
