The food is pretty good, if you like fried chicken. But the service was not fast, no wifi, and kind of disorganized, it seemed to me.

Really enjoyed our Sunday night dinner at The Bistro. Food was very good, portion sizes were very good, service was good and fast and prices were quite reasonable. Had the Pot roast dinner which came with soup of the day, veggies, redskin mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding, sunflower seed bread and coffee for $15.00. The Artisan salad was good but was overdressed so recommend getting the dressing on the side. The restaurant has a nice decor and was quite. I did ask if they make their deserts in house and was shocked when the waiter said they were from a desert company that also supplies deserts to Metro and Walmart, not exactly a selling feature.

Smitty's has been open for quite some time,I just decided to try it out tonight. One thing I liked was that the Elgin Mall has some new pavement. I went in the side entrance and didn't have to stand in line. I told the clerk that it was my first time to try Smitty's and another customer said "it's delicious".I didn't have a long wait, and you could choose your side item and your toppings. I got two house cheese burgers and fries and some onion rings. When I came home, my spouse started to pick out the sauteed mushrooms, they were too thick. He didn't bother with the fries and the onion rings were way too thick. You take a bite and the onion comes out of the batter. I didn't find anything special about the burger. It tasted about the same as I would make at home in the frying pan. We must be hard to please. I'm always looking for a great tasting burger and I know they are really hard to find. My review of Smitty's is that it wasn't bad, it was fresh. I don't think I'll try it again.

Decided to try this place out on our ride through St.Thomas. They have a Kids menu. No crayons. Kids got a $6.99 hot dog and fries each. It also came with a small ice cream for dessert. Kids liked it but couldn't finish. Hot dogs are huge.Service was good. They try their best. I had the famous Wimpy's hamburger for $9.49. My wife opted for the smaller version burger. Both come with fries but my wife upgraded her fries to a poutine. It was good. I got onion rings instead. They were good. Fries were good. They give you good size portions of fries. That is nice. The burger wasn't anything special. Just plain burger. Not much flavour. We also ordered a banana split ice cream. It was good.The food was ok but nothing to make us want to go back a second time.

We have been here several times and this time was for dinner.Our friends had "Buy one and Get one Free" coupons which we took advantage of. The meal was quite good and the steak that we had was to our liking and quite tender.

My husband and I met up with Cousins Through Marriage, Stella and David. They live i Cambridge, Ontario and we live in Leamington. The St. Thomas Roadhouse is sort of half way for both of us. I did a Google search and found the Roadhouse. I made a reservation despite the fact that it was mid-week and we were meeting for lunch. We arrived to find it a large and spacious location decorated in a pleasant "roadhouse" style. We chose a booth and were immediately attended to by a very pleasant gal. None of us was drinking any alcohol, so cannot comment on that. We all ate something different - hamburger for David, BBQ beef sandwiches for Stella and my husband, and some cheese sticks for myself. Dessert afterward for all of us. The food was hot, presently very attractively, and tasty. Price tag very reasonable, and server did not mind that we sat and chatted for several hours. I would definitely return and have no problems recommending this restaurant to others. Good for seniors - like me - couples as it looks like place that rocks on the weekend - and families. The tab was very reasonable at well under $100.00 for the four of us. BTW, the St. Thomas Roadhouse has a menu with nothing but Hot Dogs!

We stopped recently for lunch at Legends and were quickly seated. Our server was quick and prompt with taking our order and getting our drinks. Our food arrived quickly and was good. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Country Charm Cafe is a great place to go for breakfast one of the best breakfasts in st thomas. They have large portions good prices, good food and friendly courteous service. The restaurant is always busy if busy well worth the wait.

This place has two restaurants, a diner and a dining room. The diner is quaint, still having many features of a 50's style diner. The dining room is very comfortable with interesting paintings on the walls. It is quiet, exellent for having a meal and visiting. The menu is good and not over priced. They serve chicken dinners family style for larger parties.
