I tried their scratch pancakes and they were fluffy and really good. A must try for pancake lovers. It's a 24 hr place which is a plus. I will go and try something else and keep you posted.

Brisket was great, pulled pork was great, and the salmon was great as well. Brisket beans were good, Potatoe salad was ok, but it had large onions chucks. Highly recommend going here. Not a lot of seating inside, but there are several seats outdoors as well.

It's been awhile since we've been to the Main Street Diner but we believe that the breakfast is better than ever! The omelettes and pancakes are fantastic; the service is fast and attentive; and the atmosphere is really nice. They do not have gluten-free breads or pancakes BUT their omelettes and hash browns fill the bill nicely!

We have never been disappointed with this chain. The ribs are always very tasty, the sirloin is cooked well, the shrimp slightly greasy, but still tasty. The grilled zucchini and broccoli are tender and the baked potatoes are well done. No complaints from us. We eat salad at home so don't usually get that when we eat out, but the salad bar always looks very appealing.

Eaten there many, many times. Never had anything less than a very good meal. Prices are very reasonable, food ingredient quality is excellent. Certainly our go-to place for seafood, and one of our top 2-3 "occasion" restaurants in St. Charles County. We like to go during those times when they have all you care to eat shrimp *burp*.

We were visiting friends in the area, this this is where they took us for breakfast. Iâm really glad they did, I love restaurants that serve unique foods for breakfast. I had large ricotta pancakes with lemon curd. Could have used more lemon curd considering the size of the 2 pancakes. If I lived in the area Iâd be here again.

This is not a consistent place. Last time I had the shepherd's pie it was really good. This time overall it didn't taste as good as before and in particular, the bacon topping was simply bad and it nearly ruined the dish for me. But, again, the taste overall, and especially the potatoes, was not as good as the last time I had it. Also dragging the rating down was the amazingly skimpy house white wine serving, which was so small that everyone else at our table thought it was a shot or liqueur, it really was that small. It didn't even come in a normal wine glass and was way smaller than a typical glass of wine (that's not a port or something like that) and to charge $5 for that is quite unreasonable. The potato skins, on the other hand, have been consistently good and I'm going to stick with them in the near future. Service was average as were prices generally so no great value or anything. This is a typical sports bar with a lot of TV's and overall average bar food. The potato skins though are above average.

Hobo's is about as old school as it gets. Food is great, beer is cold, place is packed from open to close. Prices are extremely reasonable as well. Service is fast and friendly. It's not a white table cloth kind of place by any means. This is real people enjoying real food.
