Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes. For over 85 years, the company's name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word "steak" stood for
We like to go to breakfast every Sunday after church so we look for bargains. This place surely fits that bill. You can get filled up pretty quick for just a few bucks. Their burger deals are phenomenal and they're nice sized burgers - not those flat processed sandwiches you get with the fast food joints. While there, you gotta try one of their fabulous milkshakes. They have a rewards program based on the money you spend, but it takes a while to get to the free food level, because it's so cheap to eat there. Highly recommend.

Although they serve breakfast all day, I eat here for lunch occasionally. Prices are a little above average, but its always quality food. The grilled salmon is served with broccoli that is always cooked perfect and that's hard to do! You will not find a harder working and more friendly staff and quality food!

Stopped in for late lunch after shopping at Mosser Glass in Cambridge, Ohio. We were seated quickly. Service was good. We tried the sampler appetizer platter. It was okay. It needs more quantity for the price. We tried the hot ham and apple sandwich. It was pretty good. It was hot, tasty and flavorful. It could have used some tomatoes to put it over the top. The fries were very good. We tried the pumpkin pie slice. It was just $2. It was very good. The filling was a little on the soft side but it was flavorful. Overall a good experience for our first ever visit.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Score card- service terrible- food quality very good- value for the food excellent.Coffee arrived but not the cream for several minutes, even asking for it twice. First food arrived after 52 minutes- yes I was clock watching! But, not the hash browns- butter for the English Muffins,- salsa- ketchup. Check arrived before all the food did. Offered 1 refill on coffee in 80 minutes. Now the positive side. Our food was quite good. Hot and tasty. Tables of guests who arrived several minutes after we were seated ate and left before we got any food. The large table next to us were delivered their food over a 30 minute period. Yes. from the time their first food arrived it was over a half hour for them to get all their food- if they really did at all. Again, our food was really quite good, that was the best part. Price for the food was a great value. They did have a serious cleanliness issue in the Men's Room, I reported it to them and they addressed it immediately.

Went here on our road trip for my husband's birthday dinner. You can't beat endless shrimp, except we are older now and can't do it justice any more. Excellent dinner and service was great, she couldn't do enough for us. Thank you Red Lobster.

Saint Clairsville is situated in an idyllic part of Ohio, marked by gentle hills and an enormous sky. Driving there puts one in the perfect mood for a relaxed dinner and a good nightâs sleep.Ben and Mrs Too have dined at Outback Steakhouse from Montana to Arizona, New York to Florida, and Virginia to California. Ben must admit that once, but only that once, honesty forced him to rate it terrible. He has also had several visits he felt were no more than average (before he discovered the fun of writing to TripAdvisor). Other than that, this chain delivers, in the opinion of both Ben and Mrs Too, a superior to excellent experience consistently. This location in Ohio is right up there. We settled in, exchanged greetings with Emily R, and ordered drinks. For dinner, Mrs Too tried the Steakhouse salad, and Ben, still not completely over a big lunch, went for the six ounce filet mignon. The kitchen was quite prompt this night, and our food came right out much sooner than often happens. It was no surprise that both meals were exquisite.A real treat was a very cordial chat with Clint Stoehr, the managing partner at this store. He stopped by and proved to be very affable. We definitely appreciated his attention.Another feather in the Outback cap. Thanks to one and all who were part of our visit.

This Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant was located in St. Clairsville, Ohio directly off Interstate 70. It seems that I always find a Cracker Barrel restaurant to have lunch in during each trip to the States and this trip was no different. I really like the home-made quality of their food and always the fast and polite service you receive at anyone of their restaurants throughout America. This lunch was no different as I had a tall glass of their homemade iced tea followed with a nice green garden salad and then one of their great homemade soups. What really tops each visit are their prices very reasonable in today's inflated economy.I strongly suggest if you have never tried a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant you should stop by the next time you see one along many of our Interstates nationwide. You will not be disappointed!

We had a 6 person birthday dinner for adults age 60 to 90 last week. First appetizers were 10 minutes apart. Salads arrived within minutes of 2nd app. Both appetizers were onion pedals. They were excellent. Then the meal. One steak was a bone in ribeye. Ordered medium well. Barely made medium. Waitress never returned during the meal to check on anything. Wifeâs Filet was ordered medium. Cooked bloody medium rare. The worst part was it was terribly full of silver skin through out. She gave it to me and took one of my tender pork chops. I struggled with the filet. Cutting away where possible. When waitress returned at check time, âanything elseâ. She was told and shown the silver skin and stringy unedible filet. Shortly, the manager came by saw the meat, apologized and asked if she could prepare another to take home. We declined.. She did adjust the check.Overall, for not being busy last Thursday the service was less than desirable and 2 out of 6 meals were not what anyone would expect.

Quite by accident, I found Mehlman's (pronounced Mail mans) Cafeteria on our bus group's way back from Ark Encounter/Creation Museum. I could just say WOW, but an explanation is needed for that superlative. You know something is going on there, when you pull into a football field-sized parking lot! And most of the spaces are filled! You know you're gonna be in a line, but the aromas that you take in will add a couple pounds to your girth before you even hit the food stations.A full list of the day's offerings are spelled out for you. You grab a tray, put it on the railing, and the fun begins! The first encounter is with a ton of dessert goodies. This fat boy couldn't resist a raspberry -looking wedge of yummyness, then the almond crusted salmon found it's way to my ownership, I said hello to a great looking cole slaw, and then completed the feast with syrupy Pepsi. Love syrupy Pepsi! You see, there are no loser selections here! If it wasn't for my wife restricting my diet, Im would still be there! Making the visit to this quaint place even more enjoyable was the old-fashioned tables, chairs, and wallpaper. I felt like I was at Gramma's! And not a single grumpy cashier or attendant! You would think that after putting up with hundreds of people each day, it would wear on their nerves, but no, everyone was friendly there! Perhaps I will regret posting this review because more people may be in front of me in line next time around;good things should be made known to good people.
