This is a straight forward diner-type restaurant. The ambiance is nice and inviting. The menu is extensive. My wife decided on the pork chop dinner with cole slaw and cabbage and ham. I ordered the hamburger steak dinner with the same sides. The server was VERY friendly but slow and forgetful. The hamburger steak was smothered in gravy (outstanding) with onions and mushrooms. It was terrific. The sides were also spot-on. My wife's pork chops were meaty and tender but with little flavor. We will return here and get to know the menu better.

If the Sunset Grill gets a bit noisy for your liking at dinnertime, give Hook's a try. The menu is a step down from from the dinner entrees served at Sunset, seving mostly sandwiches in disposable ware. For what it is, I think it's really good food, especially the fish. Surroundings are peaceful and serene.

This is a return visit for us, so we came in with high expectations. We were not disappointed with the exception that the restaurant was very busy (Thursday evening!!) so everything happened in slow motion. We were seated and our server brought our drinks very quickly. We ordered from the "2 for $20" menu.I had the beef skillet while my wife had the chicken parm skillet. It took a while (our server explained the kitchen was very busy and everything was slow. For an appetizer, we ordered the cheese curds (which we assumed would be made with cheddar cheese) We were disappointed when they came made from Mozzarella (we would have ordered cheese sticks had we known). The main courses came and were very tasty. I had asked for the pablano sauce on the side but discovered it had just the right amount of heat for me.All in all, except for the slow down due to high volume, a very enjoyable evening.

Interesting place that rings of southern hometown cooking. We tried the pulled pork plate. It was pretty good. The best part is picking the sauce with catchy names. We liked the, âMississippi Mudâ, but I was mixing and matching. Weâll go back again and try the ribs. Theyâve got specials, so ask about them.

This is a great place to go for breakfast and lunch. The service is outstanding, very attentive and quick. Breakfast was excellent, willing to make modifications to menu items with quick delivery. Lunch items are good, the fried fish and chicken are battered in house, not frozen bricks from somewhere else. Fish is cooked to perfection.

We were brought here by my sister-in-law and her husband who come here often. We had a great experience. It was a Saturday and the weather was gorgeous (yes, I'm not a FL native) and we sat outside and watched the palms sway and listened to a multi-instrumentalist play through Tom Petty's songbook. There were quite a few things that looked good on the menu, but I went with the Circles Shrimp and was not disappointed. Followed it up with some Key Lime Pie which was nice and tart.RecommendedThank you for taking the time to write us a great review! We are glad that you had a good time and yes the weather has been gorgeous out this past weekend. Glad you were here to enjoy it! Have a great week....

Water front island style dining featuring live entertainment daily. Chef driven menu with an eclectic mix of seafood, steaks and hand held items.
This restaurant used to be the "go to" place because of the view, the sunset, and the food. Now it is only good to see the sunset. We were one of 5 tables in the restaurant and 3 of them had finished eating. We waited over 30 minutes to get our food. My hamburger was over cooked. The pasta was dry. The french fries were hot, but not tasting like in the past. No one came over to apologize for the wait; what a shame that the management did not seem to be aware.

We have frequently stopped there to get a Bloody Mary for Sunday brunch. They give you a generous shot of vodka and you get to the bar fixinâs to customize your drink.

We ate here while on vacation. We were presently surprised by how great the food and service was. Everything was priced so well. The building is in a older pizza looking building. There was a big group of us and they handled everything very well all the way through. Wish we would have found this little gem when we first got to town. Oh and Jackie the waitress she had the best personality and we appreciated it. Thanks again to everyone there it was wonderful.
