This place was pretty good, food good, service not bad. The attached market and shops were great . Convenient right along Hwy.
Outlaws BBQ has been slapping them ribs and smoking their meat for over 25 years now. They are building a new place in Warrenton Texas. Come out to the Round Top - Warrenton Antiques Show twice a year. Enjoy the day shopping and stop by Outlaws BBQ for so
We were having a Bachelorette weekend in Roundtop staying at the Lone Star Glamp Inn. Wine tasting at Rohan Winery then we were going to the Blue Mule Winery. We all needed to eat so we went to the Best Bar B Que in town!! They served all of us and it was delicious. Loaded Potatoes, sandwich or meat plates all very good
"Oui Oui' is a destination for coastal inspired French fare served in the heart of Round Top, Texas, featuring one of Texas's best-known chefs and restaurateurs at Bader Ranch every day of the Antique Show. We will be bringing in local ingredients, a menu
Arbor International Antiques & Interior Design Show sponsored a wonderful Panel âMastering the Mixâ moderated by Shay Geyer. Following the panel, Curtis Ann Davis hosted a reception at The Frenchie Hotel, and following that, Katie Bader arranged a supper reservation with Liberty Cafe Chef Lance. There were 13 of us dining plus our surprise guest, Alain Declert the programmer director, and my friend, Of Round Top Festival Institute. Even though the hour was late, the reservation a last minute request, the staff, the chef, and the guests all had an amazing time. Being responsive to peoples needs and wants is a restaurantâs miracle when well done. Chef Lance and his trusty staff did an amazing job of all that, and the food was just wonderful. Their price fixe menu is amazing, the price is reasonable for crowded Round Top, during Antiques week, and the food was hot when it should be and cold when proper. Plus, unlike 2 other prominent restaurants, we were provided with proper eating utensils prior to the receipt of our food, the drinks service was friendly and very well done, the food service was excellent. The surrounding ambience is really lovely, the table well set, and all in all I give it a 10. I suggest you go by and meet the Liberty team and the Bader group. From the Belgian antiques to the wine & food choices, we were well served. Thank you Bader Ranch, Oui Oui, Liberty Kitchen, Chef Lance, and Katie Bader.

We were briefly greeted at the door by a passing waitress. It was obvious that she was so busy she couldnât come and seat us....and no one else did either. Thatâs how it all started. Now, donât get me wrong, I can be sympathetic to a full a busy restaurant. But thatâs not the problem here. Eventually the man that owns the place comes over and in a charming, throng to be funny kind of way, asks if weâve been helped. (He knows we havenât because he is standing at the end of the bar watching his staff (2 servers) barely keep their heads above water. So, instead of HIM seating us, he hollers across the restaurant/ bar area and motions for one of the servers (who is clearly on her way to another table with items in her hands) to come over and seat us. Because she is so busy, she quickly takes us upstairs where there are 2 other seated tables. One is finished with their lunch, complaining about the terrible house Chardonnay- expressing that it used to be good but it is awful now. We should have left then! The other table has young children and had not been tended to yet. (They left before someone ever came back for their drink order- at least 10 min). Front he time we sat down until we actually received our drinks was pretty close to 20 mins. Do not order the Moscow Mule (donkey thing). Stick to beer. You canât mess that up! And the Bloody Mary was pretty good. When the restaurant slowed down she came back up and took our order. Now, I truly believe she was doing her best but she has a crappy environment she is working in. One of our guests ordered a burger that didnât have all the trimmings on it that the menu stated, the shrimp and grits had no cheese as the menu stated, the sliders with biscuits were so dry that they just crumbled on the plate, and the chili/ frito pie that 2 of us ordered....well, right before the the food was brought up; we were informed that there was only enough for 1 order. You didnât realize that you didnât have enough 30 mins ago when we ordered???? (Unprepared kitchen/ restaurant!!!) AND, I speak from experience because I work in an extremely high volume restaurant (8+ tables per server). So, the compromise ended up that they would have enough for a child portion and an adult portion. The full size portion had almost no meat just chips and cheese, and the kid portion was all meat almost no chips AND it was so cold that the cheese wouldnât melt! After all of this disappointment- the owner still had the nerve to ask if it was all okay.....IDIOT!!! He should not be in business and he is only in business because he has too many unsuspecting tourist walking in his door because of his location. DONâT BE A FOOL LIKE WE ALL WERE:/

I had the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant once again. So good. We started with branch water cocktails which were so good we had another. Appetizers were Koren Street Tacos and their wonderful roasted brussel sprouts. Dinner beef tenderlion and pork short ribs. All delicious. If you haven't stopped in here do yourself a favor and stop in. Excellent service as well.

It wouldn't be antique week without at least one meal at Royers. This visit did not disappoint. Dinner options at our table inclued Shrimp and Grits, Grilled Quail and Pork Tenderlion. All declicious and upto Royers high standards. Didn't see any of the family on this night. I suspect they were taking a break before things got really crazy. I think we had a new server as she had some issues throughout the night. We are all new once right? Made your reservations early and enjoy.
