They serve locally smoked meats, so at breakfast you want bacon or sausage and maybe a BLT at lunch. The scrambled eggs were not fluffy, but otherwise the meal was very good and modestly priced. Our out-of-town guests went back two more times.

We eat here when in town as a bonal thing to do. The food is good the service is quick. This is simple eats, only problem is no Mayonnaise they use a very distance substitute called something other than Mayo. Hellman's is the best

Seems the new owner changed suppliers. There is a difference here. Seems the profit on beach burgers and dogs on the Beach are high. This location is looking for better profit by sacrificing the quality. If you have not been here recently you will notice Too bad.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner while in Rogers City last month. We ordered burgers - typically a great choice - but were disappointed by the meal. Stale buns, stale chips, and mediocre beef. This place must be hurting if it cannot afford fresh bread and good ground beef. Service was friendly and professional, but, Iâll think twice about going back. Dear Fahren3I am sorry to here about your recent experience at The Lighthouse. I will be reviewing with my staff our procedures to make sure that they are being followed properly. There is no reason for the experience you had to occur. We are using the same burger we have used for years, 100% Angus Beef, buns are delivered 2 times a week. On your next visit please ask for Brian so I can ensure that everything is alright.

In the day this was the old Buoy Restaurant and then it became something else. It was okay back in the day. We thought we would take the short trip up from Grand Lake and we were glad that we did. The staff was incredible and very customer oriented. When we asked the busboy a question that he could not answer, he actually went and had the chef come out to talk to us. I went to the bar to get cash to tip our waitress and the two people behind the bar were having a conversation. When I approached they stopped the conversation and immediately came over to help me. Our waitress was outstanding and was on the spot for everything. I even noticed that if the waitresses were busy that they had a food runner that brought the food out so it was not sitting in the back getting cold or under a heat lamp. My mom had the Pan Seared Scottish Salmon and said it was great. She is 91 years old and ate everything on her plate. I had the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was very good. Maybe a touch under cooked. My wife had a chicken pasta dish that was out of this world. Can't remember the name, but you'll find it under pastas on the menu. We seldom eat deserts, but this night we shared both the Blueberry Shortcake and the Croissant Bread Pudding and they were awesome! The view of Lake Huron is spectacular from the dining room. This was the first time the manager of a restaurant actually gave me their business card. We'll be back again because this place is actually outstanding!

We had 4 years to work hard and gain a respectable reputation in Rogers City. We are now in our own building!! The same attention to detail, care and pride go out on each plate we serve. Chef owned and operated. We pride our selves on scratch made food. F
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Clean, nicely decorated. We had a late lunch that was delicious. We bother ordered different meals,: the days special hamburger and a shrimp basket. Then we split a homemade cheesecake that was one of the best, didnât need the strawberries.!! Well worth the stop!
