In the 1940's structure supported by locally logged and sawn rough cut timbers, is a chef's dream kitchen capable of fresh and homemade everything served in a cozy dining room with lots of windows and a real fireplace with stonework. We guarantee our cust
Glad to see this attractive restaurant open under new management. Owner Roger is a biker, so there is flat parking for bikes and ample size booths to stow helmets and gear. Prices were good, low to moderate. Salad bar was fresh. Excellent service, we even got complementary cupcakes from the chef!
Great food in an eclectic atmosphere. Everything is fresh, menu changes daily and they are only open on Friday and Saturday nights, so be sure to make reservations.
Stopped for gas, stayed for lunch. This very clean combination store and restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our fresh hot sandwiches served quickly by the Friendly staff. The dinning room is spacious as are the clean bathrooms. Looking forward to trying their breakfast and suppers in the near future as we enjoy boating in nearby Fontana Lake.

We took a chance with the cafe and we were pleasantly surprised. Prices were CHEAP!!! Food quality was GREAT! Quaint little strip mall hole in the wall worth the stop.

Expensive, too. Which should probably be expected of any place that can sell liquor (Or at least beer -- I didn't check.) in a dry county. The major appealing feature is that it is practically in the parking lot of Two Wheel Inn, a major benefit to anyone motorcycling in from a distant location. (Guests of the Inn get a 10% discount coupon that makes prices more palatable.)Great for one night, maybe two. But the limited menu makes exploring other options worthwhile.Thank you so much for your review and we are actually working on a new menu! We love that our guests at the Two Wheel Inn Resort get to come here in the evenings! Us at Moonshiner Steakhouse hope to see you in the future.

In one day I had lunch and dinner here because it was the closest restaurant to the Ironhorse Motorcycle Lodge. The air conditioning barely worked and it was a hot August day outside. The food was ok. I had a cheeseburger for lunch and a catfish dinner. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
Third week of July, BF and I took a road trip on the bike, to North Carolina. We arrived in Robbinsville...â¦â¦.., early afternoon â¦â¦â¦â¦.hungry. Knowing nothing about this little diner we pulled in, parked and walked inside. The staff was courteous and friendly, /the floor, booths and benches very clean, shelves behind the counter neat and tidy, and the food was hot and delish. Nothing fancy but definitely good food.So good, we came back the next day. To Andrew, Jason and April, we thank you again, for your great service and the delicious hot food. Keep up the good work, it does not go unnoticed! Sincerely, John and Deni, on the red Harley.

We are a family owned business, that has been in operation 17 years. We serve lunch and dinner. We have a great Salad Bar, Homemade Desserts, Hand Cut Steaks, Fresh Hamburgers. Everything is cooked to order. Come by and see us. We are located at 237 East
My husband and I stopped here after driving the Cherohala Skyway. We loved the hometown look and feel of this place. The servers were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the salad bar, which had plenty of items and they were all really fresh. I had lasagna and it came piping hot in a large bowl covered with melted cheese. My husband had a seafood platter with a lot of different things, sauteed shrimp, crab, and fish. The peach cobbler we had for dessert was homemade and included fresh peaches. It was a very comfortable evening with a great atmosphere and wonderful food.Thank you for the great review, hope you will come back soon. Lynn

Perched on the banks of the world famous Cheoah River, Tapoco Tavern combines the very best of classic pizzeria and all American flavors with a riverside view and environment unmatched in all of Western Carolina. Order up a brick oven pizza for the family
So you've just driven the Tail of the Dragon and you're exhilarated, thirsty, and hungry. You come to Tapoco Tavern and you think - what a beautiful setting for a restaurant alongside a river. Well..... it is beautiful, but the food is just OK and the service is abysmal. If you are just looking for liquid refreshment and snacks - this is a great place to sit at the bar and carry-on with friends. If you're hungry for a meal, you might want to think twice. We talked to some regulars about the bad service and they said that's typical. Guess the owners think they can get by with half a better mouse-trap.Hello Mr. Deevee2,Yes, we are blessed to be surrounded by beautiful landscapes alongside the Cheoah River. We are sorry though that your time here didnât meet your expectations and that you did not experience the WOW treatment that so many of our guest experience on a daily basis. Our locals are the heart of Tapoco, we love them and they return with smiles often. We hope you have safe travels home.

Established in 2013. The Hub of WNC was created as a supplement business to Sportbikes4hire which is a 4 year old motorcycle rental company that covers a territory between Asheville, NC and Knoxville, TN. Robbinsville, NC is a major cross roads, or "Hub"
After exploring the Cherohala Skyway stopped at The Hub for lunch. Was pleasantly impressed with staff and food! Bar-B-Que was delicious and service excellent. We asked directions and staff seemed happy to help. A fun place for ages. They have games outside for kids and adults to play. Plan to stop in again when in the area. Highly recommend The Hub!
