Three adults for lunch on a weekday. 12:30 restaurant wasn't busy. Wait staff and food very good. I ordered a build your own burger with fries. It was a tad over done. I ordered medium, but excellent flavor non the less. My wife had the chicken tender wrap and my sister-in-law the artichoke spinach chicken flat bread. Both were very pleased. helpings were reasonable. None of us left hungry or over stuffed. Food aside, they also have a decent beer selection. Everything reasonably priced.

Owners are present (love that). The ice cream looks great, but too full after nutrucious sandwich and cookie. Coffee is available with donation to lrevolving ocal charitable group.

I work right across the street at the Econo Lodge and eat lunch here almost everyday. It's great! Staff are always very friendly and food is always good. It has a nicely furnished dining area so you can stay away from the noise and bustle of your typical bowling alley if your looking to get a drink or a decent meal.

Great little cafe with a home town look and feel. Reminds me of this country cafe in the farmland of Kansas where I grew up. The staff know their regulars and there is this welcoming vibe from the time you enter. Try the Cinnamon Roll French Toast it is delicious. Bacon made to perfection. If you live here or traveling thru you should stop in for the most important meal of the day!!!

We haven't dined here in a few years. Returned to RF for a movie at Falls Theater and this was our pre-movie destination and we brought friends with us. We sat out on the covered patio on a beautiful sunny, warm day. For those that have not been here, this place is pretty dark, not many windows except on the side where the patio is, so inside dining is for those cold winter days. We ordered the Deep Fried Mushrooms and the Breadsticks for appetizers. Both were really, really good to have with our drinks, and they make an excellent gin martini here. The mushrooms were super fresh with light (non-greasy) breading. Two of us ordered the Maple Glazed Salmon, one the New York Strip Steak and I had the Walleye Almondine. All dinners are complimented with a great selection of two sides. Word was that the salmon and the steak were delicious. Speaking for myself, I had a baked potato and the clam chowder soup. The potato large and nicely baked, the clams were abundant in my soup. Great! My walleye was good and cooked to perfection but could have used more seasoning or spice. The panko breading was nearly not there at all and almonds? what almonds? it just had almond butter served with it, that's it. Our server here was a bit forgetful not getting the order right, but all was well. Not the best fine dining to be found, but possibly the best in River Falls. On this day, we were all given a chance to spin the wheel of fortune and three out of four of us won free appetizers. We left smiling.

After filling up on cheese curds in Ellsworth, we stopped into Swinging Bridge Brewery on our way back to the cities to try a few beers. We ordered at the bar and both got flights along with some chips and queso and grabbed the last two seats with a group of others at one of the large tables. We were about half way through our flight before our chips and queso arrived, and watched it wander around the bar for awhile. I enjoyed a few of their beers but didn't feel anything was worth the drive. Great local taproom if you are in the River Falls area though. Wish they had a patio or just some more seating as it was a fairly crowded when we were there.

My wife and I were in town so we stopped here for lunch and shared a bucket of burgers. It was surprisingly good and very filling. The waitress was extremely helpful and even allowed us to have a mix of fries and onion rings which made the meal that much better. We would love to come back here next time we are in town.

My husband and I went here for dinner on a Friday night. We expected that they would be busy, and they certainly were. It took a couple of minutes for the hostess to speak to us but someone else (manager, owner, bartender?) told us that they would be right with us. We had seen that the deck and the patio were full, and could also see people eating in the bar and the dining room. It had been many years since I had been here, so it was fun to see the place again. We asked for and were able to sit on the deck. There were actually a couple of other open tables too, but maybe there weren’t enough servers. I know two women behind us in line wanted to sit outside too.Our server was with us right away, took my drink order and brought two waters. Service was excellent throughout the evening even though they were very busy (the hostess told me that there were two rehearsal dinners there). The name on our receipt was Grace. I ordered a Margarita ($5) to start, my husband ordered a Manhattan ($6). The Margarita was so sweet I had to ask for some lime wedges to make it drinkable. I would NOT order that again. The Manhattan was served over ice (NOPE!) and with red maraschino cherries. Ok, I can understand the cherries in a pinch, but ice??? Fortunately, it had a good flavor.I ordered the Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon, medium rare ($28), my husband ordered the Blackened Ribeye, medium rare ($27). I got asparagus with my entree, my husband got a twice-baked potato. Our entrees came with the soup and salad bar. We both got small cups of clam chowder as well as a little bit of salad. The chowder was very good, and the salad was good. The steak came out soon after. Both were done exactly as we had wanted them! The Blackened Ribeye tasted kind of gritty; I expected seasoning/coating, but it was kind of rough. The flavor was very good. The filet also tasted very good and was tender. My husband liked his steak. The asparagus that I got were grilled and had an excellent flavor. They were seasoned just right but the ends were tough and should have been trimmed. My husband’s potato had no flavor which was a disappointment for him. He preferred my asparagus. While eating, we ordered a second round of drinks. I got a Martini with Stoli and olives ($6.50) and my husband got a Bloody Mary with a Spotted Cow chaser ($5.75). They were excellent and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back!

Cosy, nice restaurant. Great food and wonderful service. If you are a garlic lover, try the Philly Sandwich with fries with garlic and Parmesan. The Philly Sandwich itself is great. No need to order the garlic fries. Are other sides. The Sweet Potatoes Croquettes are wonderful, with a touch of Rosemary. The Reuben is very good. Lot of drinks. Great Manhattan. Nice atmosphere. Great desserts.
