Nice brunch selections.I especially enjoyed the herring and smoked salmon.Service was excellent.I could see that the grounds and wedding areas were well planned. The hall where we dined would make for a stellar wedding reception. This was our first visit and we were impressed. The price was very reasonable forfood quality and the delightful setting. My only disappointment was the 60's rock music blaring throughout the meal. The dining area has too much class and ambiance for such pub music.I recognize that music tastes differ but some form of instrumental background sounds would be more compatible for this setting.

This has been our go to place for dinners after special events in the St. Helens area- but the quality has really gone down and we wonât be going back. We ordered steak tips and chicken Marsala- both were horrible; the sauce was exactly the same on both and tasted like a brown gravy mix. But literally the same sauce on both, although the steak tips seemed saltier, which made it just shy of salt-lick level saltiness. The chicken Marsala had two chicken tenders- seriously, breaded gross chicken tenders, that had the over cooked, dried out texture of something that had been over cooked in the microwave, one was so tough I couldnât even cut it with a knife. My son had fettuccine Alfredo, completely flavorless. No salad with the incredibly overpriced entrees (if the food was decent I may not have thought them overpriced). Dessert was worse than dinner, as if thatâs even possible. The cannoli were inedible. The mascarpone filling was grainy and had the taste and texture of something curdled. We saw our server 4 times. She never asked about our meals and didnât ask why we didnât eat our food. Incredibly bad food. We wonât be back.

Excellent fish sandwich - breading not greasy and fish was quite fresh-tasting. Okay fries, but the fish tacos were disappointing. Fish pieces were too small and just disappeared in mountains of cabbage salad. Next time, I'm ordering the fish-n-chips!

Myrtlesâs tea house is such a fun experience! The owner Elizabeth changes the decor and sandwiches and soup seasonally. I always pick the miss Myrtles tea. It includes choice of 2 soups, and comes with 7 different little tea sandwiches that are outstanding! You get to pick a pot of tea from 4 pages of tea or a couple seasonal favorites! Then dessert is always a fresh out of the oven seasonal scone with 3 other bite size treats. Such a wonderful experience. She has such a fun little shop with all kind of tea and tea cups and tea pots! Such a treat!! Sheâs only open Wednesday thru Saturday and you need reservations. Itâs my absolute favorite place!

The only downside of the Rose and Thorn is that they are in the Ilani Casino, probably the most disorganized and bumbling in the state. The restaurant, itself, is fantastic. We were wowed by the fact that they serve complementary meals to veterans on Veterans Day. That's class. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, a favorite of ours, and it was .totally nice. At last, people who know how to make marinara sauce. We also tried the ossobuco and found it to be as good as any in this part of the country- tender and delicious with a great gravy. Service is prompt, cheerful, and professional. The ambience is bright and uplifting. All in all, a memorable experience.

We were here last night and let me tell you it was some of the best seafood and service we have ever gotten anywhere! I had the salmon and my husband had the cod and both were perfect! Follow that up with the butterscotch pudding and great service from our waitress Katie, sure made our evening one to remember as we headed into the Cole Swindell concert! Thanks for making our evening!! Highly recommend Line and Lure!!Wow Kaylee Ann, thank you very much for writing such an outstanding review on your experience with us before the Cole Swindell concert here at Ilani! We really appreciate your taking the time in leaving your comments and we will be sure to commend Katie and our Team on a job well done in serving you. We hope to have you back in the restaurant sometime soon.

They have the best steak sandwich I've ever eaten. The sandwich was served with a large knife, but I didn't need to use it. The meat was as tender as any I've ever had. Nice atmosphere, fair prices, and great service. It was my wife's birthday and they brought her a complementary dessert. Thank you for your review! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your wife's birthday lunch. We hope to see you again soon!Jeff WoodAssistant General Manager

My husband and our friends went to Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge for some photography(fantastic--see other review) and were hungry for lunch. We chose to go to this restaurant, and what a delicious surprise. We all ordered something different and every one LOVED our meals. We had the Lewis & Clark sandwich(absolutely scrumptious) the Fuel Cheesesteak (a tad spicy),the Cast Iron Brie(awesome), and the Tomato Bisque soup (best ever!). Everything was served with a very nice presentation, and everyone was very friendly. The fig jam on the Lewis & Clark sandwich was so good, we bought 2 jars to bring home. This will now be a stop when traveling up or down the I-5 freeway!

Great little place to stop for a âtakeoutâ type meal. We shared the fish and chips with cod and coconut shrimp. Both were very good; although the fries a skinny cut frozen style and are just okay! I think they could find a better fry to enhance the fish and chips. You order at a counter and they let you know when your order is ready. They have both inside and outside seating, self serve soda, and beer and wine can be ordered. Both times we have been here, they have been prompt and friendly. As for the seafood inside at the seafood counter, there are a number of great looking raw choices, but the prices are on the high end. They also sell sauces, dips, and other condiments and sides to create a great homemade seafood dinner.
