The food is very good here. The service was good and the food comes out hot. They put napkins in the bag without asking and did ask if we needed anything else, like ketchup. If you are looking for a quick breakfast or lunch, I definitely recommend this place..

The Sands has local no nonsense charm. Our sweet, smiling waitress Mary was genuinely friendly and accommodating. We were waited on and served quickly. The restaurant came highly recommended and lived up to it's rave reviews from my family. My mother ate there every Sunday after church. My sister had their daily fried oyster special while we had the trout. There are several side items to choose from. Definitely a good choice.

My family has been dining at Legends in Pulaski for several years. Recently, we have been incredibly displeased with their service. Their to go service is terrible. We have had to wait for 10-30 minutes after our promised pick-up time to pay for expensive food that was underdone and missing items ordered. My child’s catfish was severely undercooked and a salad was left out of our last order. Overall, Legends has become extremely disappointing, and we won’t be back.

Stopped here on our way to Ky. It’s right off 65, doesn’t look much from the outside, but great food. Wagyu beef is a specialty. Also “sarges rice” we tried it, huge bowl for $3.00. BBQ sandwich was good & loaded potato soup is another good option.Noticed many locals eat here, a good sign.

Hickory House

We enjoyed our recent visit to Hickory House. We probably had something more in the line of a "steak house" in mind when we planned the trip. We discovered that it's just your basic restaurant with friendly service and good food. Prices are excellent for what you get. A limited selection of beer, mostly domestic, but I'm sure people don't go there for the beer. We didn't eat one of the better cuts of steak but what we had was well prepared and portions were ample. Word on the street is that the steaks are some of the best for miles around. We live 45 minutes from the restaurant so we wouldn't make a special trip to eat there again, but, we would consider it when we return to the area.

We arrived just a little past dinner time, and was informed there would be a wait of about 15 minutes, which didn’t bother us as we were in no hurries. 10 minutes later, we were seated and looking over our dinner choices. We both opted for a good old fashioned mushroom, onion and swiss burger which came cooked to perfection and hot! Onion rings were a welcome change from fries!

I cannot recommend The Yellow Deli enough. Located in an old house in downtown Pulaski, this place is absolutely charming. It is a very relaxing place to eat; calm music, plants everywhere, comfy tables and chairs and the sweetest people. It's like eating at your favorite aunt's house. I had the roast beef sandwich with slaw and my wife had their turkey sandwich also with slaw. Both were served warm (highly recommended) on homemade bread. There is plenty of seating and parking. Pulaski is about 11 miles off I-65 but The Yellow Deli is worth the drive. It's so much better than the typical fast food offerings adjacent to most exits. Everything is homemade and really fresh (even the tomatoes). Speaking of the drive, the countryside is beautiful with historical markers everywhere. So, get off the interstate and give The Yellow Deli a try.Gear RP, we truly appreciate your warm and kind remarks. we know we are not perfect but we try our hardest to give you our best. We indeed consider our deli the front porch to your auntie's house. We are so happy that you felt at home with us. We hope you felt the love of God from our hearts to yours. we look forward to the next time you come through our door. sincerely yours, your friends at The yellow deli in Pulaski.
