We went here for dinner on the Saturday of the Labour Day weekend after watching some games at Shawnee State. There was a large group of us and at our table there were 10 seated in the bar at the large corner table. Food and drinks were good however what really made the entire visit was our waitress (she had shoulder length dark brown hair, maybe mid thirties) she was fantastic... I wish I remembered her name.
Penn Station is a chain of restaurants that you can find in many cities. This one is our "Home" one that we like to go to often. Since we go there often I can state that their food is consistently good quality, their waitstaff is consistently friendly and their restaurant is clean. Really, these are excellent hot sandwiches. What makes them better than the run of the mill sandwich is the bread that Penn Station uses. It is simply the best around for a sandwich. Their fries are excellent as well. This is a good place to go for a quick, but very good sandwich for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.
Southern Ohio's Speakeasy! Serving a creative variety of traditional American fare with a focus on our legendary burgers and outstanding beer selection. We have one of Ohio's largest tap systems with over 50 beers, and even more in cans and bottles. Join
If you happen to stop by the charming little town of Portsmouth, OH then please make it a priority to stop here! The beer menu is 3 pages...front and back! They have a great selection of appetizers and the burgers are amazing. Get the real McCoy if you dig your Mac and cheese!

Stopped here for the first time on 7/6. Food is delicious. Hamburgers are sliders, yet very good. Fries are skinny fries and they were delicious. It is a small place so seating can be a challenge, but definitely worth the stop. Next time, I am going to get 4 of the burgers, my favorite!

Some locals had recommended this location for dinner, so we tried it out. The service was very poor and the food was worse. One dinner was salmon and it had multiple bones and a weird taste. Another dinner was baked tilapia that was rubbery and had no taste to it. We did not try any of the local beers.

A wonderful diner that was established in 1952. When you are in the town of Portsouth and don't want the other alternative for breakfast of Bob Evans...this is the place!
Husband and I lived in Portsmouth in the 90's while attending the local university, and we enjoy returning throughout the year. I have read many positive reviews about Patsy's, and today we ate breakfast there. We seated ourselves, and waitress promptly served us coffee. Traditional breakfast selections are on menu, nothing fancy or creative. Portions were average. Food was okay. Prices were a bit high. We were never offered a warm-up/refill on coffee. I think stopping at tables with a pot of coffee is standard diner procedure. Local regulars were greeted warmly, but we were given the cold shoulder. Cashier talked to someone else instead of interacting with my husband while he paid. We were disappointed and will not return.

We were a large group and we didn't upset them at all. We talked for awhile, but they never tried to hurry us out. Now ... the food. The buffet was filled with a nice variety of hot pizzas; and each one of them was yummy. The salad was fresh. Definitely will return.

Typical soup, sandwich, and salad place. The hummus wraps are good but the vegetables are always too large and would be better if they were just cut in thinner strips. Great flavored coffee selections.

We enjoy eating at places with character instead of the cookie cutter chain restaurants and The Portsmouth Brewing Co certainly has character! The outside of the building invites you in and the brewery decor inside has a warm welcoming feel.Hubby, son and I had been hiking at Shawnee State Park and went to Portsmouth Brewing Co for dinner and drinks. Hubby had the Pilsner and my son had the Bobcat Tracks. Both were happy with their choicesThe onion ring appetizer was yummy-real onion rings. A tad greasy but not bad.We all had Lasagna, which came with salad and breadsticks. The meal was reasonable priced and quite tasty! Our waitress was friendly and did a good job of taking care of us.I would certainly recommend this place to someone looking for a casual, fun place to eat and drink that isnât overpriced.

We were just in town for one night visiting relative and used the trip advisor review to pick this spot for dinner. The pork ribs are a little different from the baby back type, more like a pork chop with a bone but they are smoked nicely and tender. Onion rings were good but the green beans were very different too, seemed to be cooked in worstershire sauce, very salty. Overall we enjoyed, lots of locals and it was very busy even at 4 in the afternoon.
