As soon as we walked in, this place gave us an 80s Ponderosa vibe. Deco was dated. Place smelled musty. There were rifles displayed all over the walls. Food was awful. Bland and artificial tasting. The BBQ chicken tasted like it was cooked using frozen chicken breasts. Ribs were tough and chewy. BBQ sauce tasted weird and artificial. Baked potato was dry and served without butter or sour cream. We took a few bites of our food, paid and left. We will never come back here again. This place needs a serious makeover.

Now Open, B-Lux Bar & Grill: deliciously unique burgers and shakes hand crafted from scratch. Invite your family and friends to try a signature burger or indulge in one of our hard shakes. We are proud to offer fresh ingredients that are locally sourced.
The B-lux, one of the on-site restaurants at the Kalahari Resort, had promise...it was an inviting atmosphere, and looked like some good food. The prices let me to believe it would be more gourmet-style...an upscale take to traditional bar foods.I was a bit disappointed on that end. I ended up with a buffalo chicken salad. The taste was OK, but for the price paid, I would have liked a lot more meat, and something other than iceberg lettuce. The spiked shake for the dessert sounded very intriguing, but unfortunately, tasted "just OK"...and not worth the exorbitant price, I thought. Overall, Kalahari has you, as it is a "captive resort" with not much around it. One would hope, then, that the on-site dining options would be good. This one did not meet expectations, though.

If you are looking for ambience, impeccable service, a little romance, and an AMAZING STEAK, this is the place! Came here for a romantic dinner with my husband during our stay at Pocono Manor and was completely blown away at the service and the food! Everything was perfect and every detail tended to. Truly a wonderful dining experience, we felt like royalty! Definitely the perfect place to treat someone special.

Despite the excessive time to get our burgers I had to give it a 5. The burger was outstanding. Server apologized for the wait and comped us with salsa and nacho chips. Went back the next day for lunch and again would give them 5 stars. The chili bread bowl was excellent.

Transport into our contemporary steakhouse, featuring a menu with robust selections cooked over hot coals including steak, seafood, chops, chicken and vegetables. One quality many items share: the distinctive flavor imparted by Double Cut's charcoal grill
The Double Cut Grill is the high end restaurant in the Kalahari resort. Nicely decorated, but otherwise does not stand to expectations. The menu is promising, quite a wide choice of meat dishes and good wine list, but very little to offer for vegetarian companions of meat lovers. The service was slow, although the restaurant was half empty. When food arrived much of eat was cold. The port chops were dry and too salty. Deserts were OK, large portions, for two persons. The bill came expensive, service was added automatically because our party was large.

The last time we were here we thought they were just having a bad day. This time it must have been worse. We waited a while to be seated then waited and waited and waited. I went to the bathroom while waiting and it was dirty. After waiting at least 10 minutes we walked out guess they lost about $30 that is what breakfast would have cost. We will not stop here again on our way to the casino we will just eat at Mount Airy.

We had breakfast and the home fries were not cooked my wife ordered a spinach omelette that was all spinach and just about no egg. The waitress never came to ask how the food was or if we wanted more coffee. I asked another waitress to have ours get the bill and ten minutes later went to the cashier to try to get a bill.

This classic American chophouse menu offers sumptuous culinary delights â including lobster claw and jumbo lump crab meat as well as a 16 oz. dry-aged porterhouse. Other entrees include half crispy duck and buttery grouper. If youâre looking for something
A total surprise, as my wife picked this destination based on the associated hotel/resort. We had no clear idea that the facility included such an outstanding restaurant.I dislike the use of all caps in any message, but did so here for a specific reason. Key Lime pie is my favorite desert. I've had it hundreds of times all over the US and in the Caribbean, but never this good. The graham cracker crust was thin and perfectly made. Too often, the crust is thick and heavy, as though it is the primary part of the pie. More importantly, the filling was light and just a bit more tart than most versions I've had. Again, the baker often makes the filling too sweet or lacking in enough tartness. This was perfect. And the very light whipped cream was a final grace note, not a smothering mass. I would return, just to have this pie.Life is short, have desert first. This doesn't mean we didn't enjoy our main courses. I had a dry aged sirloin grilled expertly and full of flavor. I also had a special of the day, lightly breaded asparagus. It was a great start to my meal. My wife had roasted chicken, which she thought was very good. For all of the positivity in this review, I have to wonder why we only got a 4 out of 5??The key lime pie is one of our specialty desserts! To hear that you have had Key Lime Pie all over the US and Caribbean, and say ours is the best?! That is awesome!! I'm so happy to hear that, and I will be sure to tell our baker! She will be glad to hear that. I am also glad to hear that you enjoyed your main course. I hope to see you again when you visit the Poconos!

Visited 2 times during our last visit to the Poconos. The food was very good from the wings, calamari, Salmon, chicken parm, and Greek skewers. We found everything was cooked perfectly and portions were large. Service was friendly and prices are very reasonable, we will be back.
Barley Creek's new Sports Bar. This location features PA Brews, Spirits and Wines. Since 1995 Barley Creek has been a Pocono landmark: a one-of-a-kind eatery, brewery, and small-batch distillery. The folks at Barley Creek thought it would be fun to bring
Was shopping with our family at the crossings and passed by the tasting room , they had the USA womenâs World Cup soccer match on so we stopped in for a few drinks and ended up staying for the whole game. Bartender and manager were very friendly talked to us about the place as well as offered us some suggestions from the drink menu. I had smoked old fashion which was excellent , my wife had a cosmo. there were plenty of activities for the kids even a piano that my daughter started playing ( who knew she could play ) . Food menu is limited , and food was ok had the grilled cheese sandwich as well as chips and salsa . Would stop in again if at the crossing. We almost missed this place as we rarely shop on that side of the crossings - but glad we found it !Thanks for the wonderful shout out.The Tasting Room opened April 2019 and is a new addition to the fun Barley Creek has been trying to create for our guests since opening the Original Barley Creek just up the road in 1995 - It's a work in progress - and the team is excited make it work and surprise everyone bold enough to check us out. Cheers - Trip R.
