At Church's Chicken, we make real meals with the heart of the south and the Spirit of Texas giving our guests the chicken you crave and the taste you deserve. We've got pure honey-butter bliss with our made from scratch Honey-Butter Biscuits and that spic
I remember when Church's Chicken used to advertise their marinading of the chicken and the care they take with it. This was not the case today.Walked into this establishment today and was greeted with hot temperatures. Apparently the manager did not believe in keeping his lobby area cool. The manager also spoke rather rudely about employees out loud and or guests. For the food -- the chicken that used to be advertised as being marinated, tasted of only fried flower, nothing else. Sides we're nothing to brag about either. This place is out of the way in comparison to other chicken restaurants, and it did nothing today to make me want to come back to it.Not what I remembered Church"s being, much less listening to a manager talking down to employees serving my food

We were not disappointed. Appetizers to our meal was great. We had burgers, club sandwich and salads they were all tasty. The waitress was always there even when crowded. We were there at lunch time and it filled up. Our tea glass was never empty. We noticed many negative reviews but found the all to be untrue. Iâll be back when in town.
Home of The Original Golden Tendersâ¢, Golden Chick is a fast food restaurant chain offering Golden Fried or Roast Chicken, Fried Catfish, Sandwiches, Fresh Salads, Yeast Rolls and a variety of Sides.
Good food, but I get grossed out when I see the employees smoking out of the back door when making my order at the drive through.
Smoked with Texas Oak wood for up to 14 hours, True Texas BBQ offers barbecue by the plate or pound, plus delicious sides like brisket beans, creamed corn, potato salad and coleslaw.
The in-store barbecue venue truly offered true Texas bbq. Both the beef (lean end for us) and the turkey were exquisite. The free condiments and the sides were true Texas and delicious. We'll be repeat customers at other HEB stores for sure.
Our family went to eat at this restaurant and received good service, but the food was some what of a disappointment. I had the tenders and they were overcooked and small.

We called ahead and ordered off of the menu on line. And it was ready within minutes of us arriving. There are several choices of wings, we got the garlic Parmesan. And super sandwiches. The turkey and cheese on Texas toast is very good. Friendly staff.

Original location of the local chain.
Warm, salty, smoky meat juices dripping down your fingers and your chin. That's what you can expect from a meal at McBee's Bar-B-Que. If you don't end up covered in BBQ sauce and meat drippings, you weren't at McBee's. The brisket is always the perfect balance of melt-in-your mouth tender meat and deliciously bad for you fat. Serving sizes are a good size, but not belt-busting. The cheesy potatoes are their best side dish. Typical barbecue joint dining room with wooden tables and paper towel rolls on the table. Great for a casual meal or for taking home.

We ate at Cafe Chris on a Friday night. Our table ordered chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, a large salad and three crispy beef tacos. Ordered lemonade which arrived in huge cups! Got to stay hydrated in that Texas heat! Staff was friendly and busy moving around to serve customers. They must have quite a few people call in and drive up to get food. Their drive up window seemed to have someone there all the time.
