For craft beer lovers, elBait shop is the place for you. With 262 beers on tap. Every thing from light-easy drinking to dark- roasted creamy beers, & everything in between. They carry beers from all over the US. The bar staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. (As you would expect when your serving such an extensive selection.) There beer menu is updated weekly, with the taps changing on a regular basis. If your not into road tripping to hunt down craft breweries. This is the place to go.

Great Location! NO PARKING! The service was good! But the food from the kitcken was slow. Very cute waiter was most appolijetic about the slow food. Food was ok! Lots of choices on burger toppings, but in the end it is just a burger. Tenderloin on the other hand was great! A lot of meat lite breading really good!

Went for dinner on a Friday around 6pm, place was packed. Nearly impossible to walk up to the bar to get beers...at least nearly impossible to get noticed. The standing around the bar tab couldn't be rolled into my dinner ticket, so ended waiting a long time for someone to take my card...twice....that sucked. On a different note, the meatloaf sandwich was recommended and was very good.

We love this place. We forget to eat at Jethros, some nights. But, when we return, we are reminded why we love this restaurant. There were two couples in our party. The restaurant was busy, but we did not have a wait. My husband and I shared both an appetizer of wings and also a platter for two. Everything was great.

First time visitor to Big Steer restaurant in Altoona, Iowa. Truly fantastic experience with excellent, friendly, timely and professional service. I had a most outstanding filet mignon (medium) with baked potatoes and salad. Tremendous quality cut, prepared most deliciously. Very satisfying, indeed. I very highly recommend. Price was right. Portion very fair. An overall five star experience.

This small, local restaurant is a popular place for dinner. I recommend arriving early on a weekend because the place will be busy. Our server was attentive and friendly. The fish, ribs, and steaks people in my party ordered were all delicious. I would recommend to others and will visit again in the future.
Great Escape is located in Pleasant Hill and not West Des Moines as Trip Advisor address shows it. That's a 12 mile error for those not familiar with Des Moines.Great Escape is very similar to Main Event and Pinstack. It's a family fun facility that offers bowling, laser tag, and arcade. They have a VIP area to the far right for private parties and events. We were a party of twenty that came for bowling and beers. We all enjoyed ourselves. When we called in advance to inquire about open lanes the person on the phone was pleasant and helpful. When we checked in the process was easy and polite. When we extended our play time they again were helpful and nice. The facility is nice looking. They have 24 lanes of bowling. Everything looks clean and well kept. The arcade is a bit small with 20 or so games, but it too looks nice. Probably my favorite feature is the attached restaurant and bar called Social Eats & Crafts. There is a separate tripadvisor site for this restaurant, but it shares a common bar with Great Escape.Nice place for family fun and beers.

On the outside, this place is great! Cool facility, lots of craft beers on tap, and an impressive-looking menu. The menu is pricey, but would be worth it if the food was as delicious as the menu would lead you to believe. It is not. The salads are certainly not work $9--they are basically a plate of lettuce, canned fruit with a tiny chicken breast. The sandwiches are not fresh at all--they seem to have been made in advance and left to dry out. Over all, the food is terrible. The service is slow and the servers/bartenders are not very friendly. This place could do so much better.

At Johnnyâs, our steaks take center stage and are complemented by a gourmet assortment of Italian cuisine and seafood, alongside an expertly curated wine list. Whether you choose our famous Steak DeBurgo or the classic Chanel No. 5, youâre sure to satisfy
My husband and I each ordered a steak dinner. I had the charbroiled ribeye and my husband enjoyed the fillet. We both loved our food. The family style house salad, which was included, was fresh and delicious and included an excellent variety of greens and cheese. The service was attentive and efficient.Janice - thank you for the wonderful review. I am so happy to hear you and your husband both enjoyed your steaks - great choices! We hope to dine with you again soon!

Our Triple Crown Buffet is proof that not all buffets are created equal. Depending on whether youâre visiting us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can find a stunning spread of entrees, sides, salads, and desserts. Itâs truly a dinerâs delight! The Tri
About 7:15 a.m. on a Sunday morning. There were a number of empty serving pans with nothing in them. They didn't run out, they were empty/clean and there were a number of them that way. No sign of any pancakes, if you want a waffle you have to make it yourself so french toast was the only choice for something like this. I noticed when I went to pick up a slice with the tongs that it seemed dried out and hard. Come to find out all 9-10 slices were!Someone explain to me how all the slices could be dried out when the buffet just opened 15 minutes ago????? That doesn't make sense. We thought they did have a made to order omelet station here. My wife said they did in the past. Well, if they did they don't now. The biscuits were dried out and the gravy was only a little more than warm. The hash-browns were not that warm.At check-in I was given a coupon for $10 off per person for meals. I never looked at what the price of the buffet was, but at the register when I handed it to the girl she said you're good to go. Then I noticed after check-out that we charged another $11.69 for the buffets on our bill! What sort of a joke is this place? It's just like an insult-to-injury. Compared to other casino buffets and some that aren't that good any more I'd have to say this one falls short of some of those, in our opinion. Date of visit 03/31/2019 at 7:15 a.m.Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. Feedback from our guests is very important to us. Our goal at Triple Crown Buffet is to offer an excellent product at a reasonable price. We will be addressing them with our Executive Chef immediately. We hope you can give another try soon. Thanks!
