Good old fashioned home cooking with reasonable prices, daily specials, and friendly staff. Get out of the fast food rut and try the Cozy Corner. Less than 3 minutes from UNC-Pembroke, and well patronized by the local folks.
When visiting family in Maxton, Bill's Place is my son's favorite place to eat. Hot dogs and cheese fries with chili sauce. What is so amazing is that people will wait to order even when all the stools at the counter are filled - still the line will be out the door. One of the best kept secret in Maxton.
