Janneman's Burgers & Ribs, is a popup restaurant, only open in the summertime, from june till september. The best homemade ribeyeburgers en "fall of the bone" Spareribs! Location, Theater de Voorveghter, Badhuisplein 3 , 7772 Xa Hardenberg, The Netherland
If you should find yourself in or near Hardenberg (the chances of that are relatively small because it is a fair bit away from most tourist spots in the Netherlands) then this is quite a good place for dinner. The burgers are excellent, as are the ribs. Service is very friendly (if perhaps a bit slow sometimes) and they are very welcoming to kids (6yo, 3yo, 0yo for us). All in all, definitely recommended. If you happen to be in the area.

Booked this place based on the reviews, certainly the atmosphere was good and food presentation was fabulous, but the Summer Roll starter I had was bland. The main course of lamb neck was dry and over cooked. Not sure why Jackies attracts the reviews it does, unless people are eating just with their eyes.

This is an impressive looking restaurant with excellent decor. Service was good to begin with. A very friendly waitress greeted me and took my order. I ordered a starter, the ribeye for main course and a glass of house wine. The food was well presented and very tasty. The house wine was quite good. The restaurant had been busy when I arrived, but those tables soon emptied and I was the only customer left. The waitress who originally served me had long since gone and the remaining staff didn't seem to notice my presence. I didn't want to order a dessert, but did fancy a coffee and some brandy. The staff were much more concerned with clearing up and getting ready to leave. It was nearly impossible to get their attention to order the drinks. I then had to wait equally long for the bill. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise good meal.Top tip to restaurant staff. If you are keen to finish up early and get home, be attentive to the last few customers. Ignoring them simply prolongs things. The customer is unhappy and it will take longer to clear their table.

Myself and a group of friends arranged to meet at Nielz for evening drinks. It was a warm evening and so lovely to sit outside on the wooden benches with lots of cushions, or the chairs around the tables. Someone came pretty quickly to take our order for drinks and snacks, but the actual serving of the order took around 10 minutes or more. It wasn't too bad though, considering just how many customers were sitting outside on the terrace and the small number of servers! The serving staff were very polite. The atmosphere was nice. I will return in the future for another pleasant evening here.
