Very nice place, staff were very friendly, it was not crowded, it was clean, and the food was really good. I tried the BLT and it was very tasty! I would eat here again.
My wife and I stayed at the MarDon resort and loved it. If you want a departure from camping food, this is the restaurant on the resort. Very limited dinner hours during the week but have full availability on the weekend.A full bar hiding in the back. Outside terrace with a beautiful view.Food was good diner fare. I had the steak salad. Very good. Spicy seasoning on the steak which I liked. Wife had fish and side winders. Like a curly fry but thicker. They also have amazing ice cream!!
Camping at Potholes State Park, we made several trips to the General Store for various items. The store is well stocked and clean with reasonable prices. Wine and beer selection is about average for a convenience store. After filling up the tank for our return trip home the last day, we grabbed some burritos and corn dogs for a quick meal on the way. About what you'd expect from a gas station/convenience store, but they were fresh and good.
We stopped here on our way across the state. This Subway is connected to a Shell Station. Because of that we expected minimal as far as service but we got the same full service we get at other Subways that are in their own separate building. The service was good, the food options were complete, plus, since this was connected with a quickstop gas station there were a few other options not typical with a Subway such as pizza, considerably more options of beverages, etc., although, some had to be purchased at the gas station counter versus the Subway counter. There was even a nice clean eating area which wasn't over crowded or noisy. This may become a regular stopping place. FYI, the gas price was high so might consider buying elsewhere unless in a hurry. The food, however, was worth what we paid and was well prepared.
