Revisit - been here many times in last few months and tried many of their sandwiches. Always first-rate. All the classics are available. My favorite is the hot meatball sub: excellent meatballs, tangy marinara sauce, and perfect sub rolls. Available in small or large. Another favorite is the âThanksgivingâ only on Fridays: sliced turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on Texas toast. Awesome! Soups and limited salads also for sale. Can get very busy around lunch time. Best to call in your order then usually no wait. Limited bar style seating inside. Picnic tables outside. Parking usually available, just off Main St. Prices very reasonable for quality product and service.

We were looking forward to trying Windy Fields up the road but they had no public restroom. Things were becoming an emergency so we stopped here even though the restroom is a nasty Port-a-Potty. Any port in a storm... We ended up getting burgers and fries which turned out to be darn good and worth the trauma of the facilities.

Affialiated with Pine Cone Inn - Tuftonboro, NH and Bayside Tavern in Wolfeboro, NH. American Cuisine at Knotty Pine Grill
We dined at the Pine River Steak House more than 30 years ago. So we were happy to see that the Knotty Pine carries on the tradition of relaxing dining, comfortable surroundings and great food. The side salad we had was big enough to split. I enjoyed a bbq chicken pizza and my husband loved his excellent chicken bacon ranch wrap. The fries were out of this world. Portions were large and we both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I wish we lived closer so we could eat at this restaurant often.

Very crowded and only two servers but they were apologetic and did their best. A for service. And food came surprisingly quick. Was fresh and hot. Onion rings had too much batter. Great onion rings always have a thin coating to get the most out of the onion flavor.

I came here because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. Generally I'm pretty accepting of even an ok breakfast. This was truly the worst breakfast I've had in a while. I ordered two eggs over easy, bacon..... and before I could complete my order, server turned to the grill (I was sitting at the counter) and placed a biscuit on the grill for who I presume was a regular who just walked in, then turned to talk to another regular. All good for the regulars and I appreciate that. With no other orders, she plopped a couple eggs on the grill and put a press on some bacon. She then continued a conversation, took someone's payment and stepped into the kitchen. Meanwhile my eggs are sitting there a long time. She serves someone some coffee the comes back to flip my eggs. After the eggs were pretty crispy and the yolks cooked solid, she places them on a plate along with the now burned bacon, places it in front of me and tells me toast will be up shortly at which time she starts the toaster (BTW she never asked me what kind of toast I wanted).I agree with others that service was lacking so I expected that. What I did not expect was such a poor meal

We stopped there for lunch yesterday after reading the reviews. It exceeded our expectations for a delicious lunch at a reasonable price. We had a seafood platter and lobster roll. There were large chunks of delicious lobster. The breading on the seafood was light and perfect. All of the seafood and onion rings tasted fresh and delicious. The service was great.

I was nervous about gaining weight here, but I chose delicious bbq chicken, took off the skin, subbed corn for the fries, and it came with Cole slaw and a small side of beans. I gave the garlic bread to my hubby. Fast, fun waitress. The food was so good!

Monday lunchtime and most places seem to be shut. Drew up here hoping to get something. Quite a selection unless you are vegan... but they do have a vegan burger so I tried that. Choice of French fries or chips (crisps in the UK) went for the French fries expecting them to be pretty limp and cold as per usual. In fact they were substantial, lovely and crisp and well seasoned. The burger was nice as well. Opted not to have a starter and good thing too, the main was a huge serving. Perhaps a little on the pricey side but itâs a well maintained upper scale place.

Jake's Seafood Co, Inc. is a full service, family owned and operated restaurant. We take great pride in offering a wide selection of fresh Seafood, Steak, chicken and even a few vegetarian meals to please the palates of just about everyone. We source loca
Excellent, friendly service and fried clams that were among the best I have had in New England - not overly breaded and with juicy bellies. We were introduced to Jake's by family living in the area and were not disappointed in the least. It is now a place that we consider a favorite as well.

Recently returned and saw a revised menu and all with price increases of $2-4. (approximately 15percent). Would be ok but the dinner rolls and French fries seemed changed (not for the better). Still good service and hearty portions (though the steamed vegetable had dirt discoloration on it). Maybe an off day...will try again but bring back the oldies but goodies.
