This is your average Hardee's , but it was clean and the workers were friendly. I've found that Hardee's in small towns tend to be cleaner than those in suburban/urban areas. If you want a quick burger and a clean restroom right off the interstate, stop here.

It's Saturday morning. 9:00 am. There's one cook in the kitchen and two servers. The cook complains constantly about the work load. "Why are you doing this to me?"; she demands of the servers. "It's ok... You're ok..."; say the servers. The restaurant has about 12 customers at 7 tables... And we've been waiting and waiting and waiting for our breakfasts. It was 10 minutes before we got coffee. It's now been 20 minutes since we ordered. I began writing this out of boredom. The decor is uninspiring. There's been an attempt at making it look homey and country style but reproduction tin signs and photographs of old time George Webb restaurants (Which were obviously more successful than this one) only goes so far. There's a huge flat screen TV hanging above the pass thru window blaring fox news. I mean blaring. Angry and concerned and fearful and hopeful by turns, the presenters are wading through the days news. George Webb? Where are you when we need you?!
When arriving late in the evening at a nearby hotel, the first choice of places to get a pizza for carry-out had shut down their ovens 15 mins. prior to closing time. Found Meatheads Pizza & Ale House open and although they were about to to close their kitchen too, went out of their way to serve me, and were very friendly in doing so. Their pizza menu has many choices and they make their own crusts and sauce. Very tasty! Also have the bar & entertainment for the attached hotel.Good value.
This place makes a person feel welcome as soon as they enter. Great wings and you can tell the burger is fresh. Highly recommend if you are in the area :)

Really terrific bakery that can't possibly be good for you is found here. The staff is very nice, and they do special orders of all kinds. More expensive than grocery stores, but the quality and a variety of items which can only be found in a real bakery make it worth it.

We were part of the Chippewa Valley Beverage Trail August Event. This was our last stop for the evening. We had a full flight of beer plus kettle chips & cheese soup which worked well as dip for the chips. First time for several of us so we did not know all orders are taken at the bar then servers deliver food. We got our our drinks quickly. One couple ordered a burger & salad to share and we ordered a wrap to share. The food came in a timely fashion and tasted good. It appeared there was a wedding there too located in a separate area and we could hear them but did not cross their path. Beautiful evening to sit outside too. Prices were reasonable & we were glad we stopped.

Stopped for gas and decided to eat too. Parked and went in what ended up being the back door. Was seated and offered a menu. Special of the day was fried chicken. SOLD!! It takes longer tham most meals but I got caught up on emails. Soup was goos and chicken was piping hot. Really, really good. Wish I got by there more often.
