Reviews on American food in Oslo, Eastern Norway, Norway. The 1000-year-old Norwegian capital sits at the head of Oslo Fjord. This stunning setting gives hints of the wild wonders that lie just beyond the city. From taking in visual delights at Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum and Holmenkollen, to the challenging content within the new Nobel Peace Centre and the Holocaust Center, Oslo offers plenty of food for thought. The Oslo Pass allows free travel on public transport, free parking and many museum and sight admissions.

I have been here many times and every since they came more and more popular the food quality drops, now the meat is not warm anymore and fries are cold. + waiting time is usually loooong... So for delivery this place would be good as you cant expect a "freshly" warm burger etc. and the fries will be soggy.Hi Ninuso,Iâm deeply sorry for your experience, and what you describe is way below our standard. We strive to make each burger as perfect as possible, but sometime we do not meet our expectations. We are currently expanding so waiting time should be shorter in the future, and our burgers should always be juicy and warm. Again, sorry about your experience. As a token of good faith we would like to offer you a complete new menu for free. Just refer to this message.Have a great summer and hope to see you soon. Best regards,Torstein Troys Burger

American burgerbar at the Vulkan area in Oslo. Friendly atmosphere, fantastic burgers, chunky milkshakes and a lively bar scene. We have our own speakeasy "Søvnløs bar" next door.
When walking down icy roads in the capital, I felt a lingering need for a succulent burger. Lucky me, Iâve spotted Døgnvill Burger Vulkan! Now, letâs start with my first impression of the restaurant situated in Grynerløkka, Oslo. The partially absent light in the entry hall complemented the dark sky as the sunset had just past the horizon. The interior gave me a slight vintage, but sumptuous vibe. Accordingly, the burgers were fairly expensive. However from the first bite, my taste buds were stimulated to a sensation of euphoria. The homemade potato fries had a crispy consistency to it. No doubt about it, the food was made with an enormous amount of passion and dedication to not only change one mans mind, but his soul.So to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of oneâs viewâs and by trying to make it objectified and by considering everyoneâs valid opinion, I think my family and I enjoyed ourselves at Døgnvill Burger Vulkan. Sincerely, EmilEmil! Are you an author? I had to send your review over to all staff at Døgnvill Burger Vulkan to make them smile. Thank you so much for your kind words and valuable feedback - it truly means a lot to us. We're so happy to hear we managed to touch not only your mind, but also your soul. Hope we'll see you again - welcome back!Best regardsKristine (and the rest of team Døgnvill Vulkan)Døgnvill Burger

Very homey place. Burger and shellfish sandwich were both excellent. The burger bun was like a pizza. Service was very good. A bus load showed up un-announced (fortunately after we had ordered) and was handled efficiently and with good humor. A very nice place to go as part of your tour of Bygdoy museums.

Our story started in 2014. Bun's quickly became known for Oslo's best burgers. Inspired by local Texsas-style recipes straight from our chef, we are dedicated to the ultimate burger experience. And one more thing, Bun's is created and run by four guys con
Ate here last Friday night, visiting Olso and was very impressed. The restaurant was busy but we had booked a table online. Atmosphere was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and filling. And possibly the best burger Iâve ever had. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Great views too. £44 for two burgers and drinks.

Burger restaurant located by the sea side in Tjuvholmen in Oslo. Friendly atmosphere, fantastic burgers, chunky milkshakes and a lively bar scene.
We had «An offer you canât refuse», which was a burger with Tallegio cheese, portobello mushroom fried in butter and balsamico, red onion, lettuce and herb majo. We had sweet potato fries as well. The burger didnât differ much from any burger I have eaten before at other places. I had expected some more because the restaurant claims that their burgers are of high quality. I presume the hamburgers would have been better if they were made freshly on the spot , which they werenât.The fries were a little more fried than we preferred. The service was quite all right, but a little too hasty.Average minus for the food.Look for more reviews by MulleEllum.Hi there MulleEllum! Sorry for our late response. I was certain i had replied to your feedback, but obviosly i didn't. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear our burgers didn't meet up with your expectations. Our burgers are made out of meat from Jæren in Norway and then minced by Albert Idsøe in Stavanger. This is high quality meat that we're very proud of. That's why we're truly sorry your burger wasn't as good as you expected. We will take a closer look at this. Again, our biggest apologies and thank you for letting us know. Serving authentic, smoked BBQ with a lotta heart & southern hospitality. Along the Akerselva river down from Vulkan and Mathallen.
Been there several times and cannot decide if it is worth returning. Food is nice but nothing super, never been able to test the renowned brisket. Fried chicken is average, Mac and cheese overcooked and lumpy. For the average of Oslo it's not bad but nothing to compare with a real U.S. diner
