We stopped for dinner before heading to Bedford. Rates as #2 in the area we were hopeful. . .we should have noticed there were only 5 reviews. The people were friendly. Service was slow. Place was filthy and sticky. The bathroom was not the cleanest. The food once it arrived was terrible. They assumingly use the same dirty grease for everything they make. .pork tenderloin (Indiana specialty), fish, french fries, etc. it all tasted like the fish that we didn't even order. One other patron complained bc he found a bread tie in his nachos? We had someone in town tell us this place was great. . it is not. If you wait another 15 minutes until you arrive in another town to eat, it would be worth the wait :/

This KFC gets a 4th dot because it has a buffet. Honestly that's the reason we stopped at this restaurant on our trip up I65. Eating unlimited extra crispy AND original recipe chicken is a KFC fan's dream. They did run out of biscuits on the buffet for a while and the mashed potatoes and gravy seemed as though they had been sitting out for awhile, but I mean nobody is perfect, right?

The food is always good. I think Arbys in general is a little high for fast food prices but I paid it anyway.

This is a great local restaurant that serves delicious wood oven pizza and so much more. We love the tomato basil crostini appetizer, rail bread appetizer, the Hi-Railer and the Trainmaster Supreme pizzas, and the Stromboli and Turkey Pesto Club sandwich. They make their pies, cheesecake, and ice cream, and they are scrumptious. The servers are always friendly and the owners, John and Donna, are usually working and helping out around the restaurant. John will often stop by your table to chat with you about your meal or as your checking out. This is a wonderful addition to North Vernon!

My parents told us about this place. Basically, the closed down the local golf course and turned the clubhouse into a restaurant.Now it's a sit-down place with a diner feel. Nothing wrong with that.The food was very good, and not very expensive. Great value for the money.You will not leave this place hungry. One waitress was one duty, the should have been two as there were lots of diners. We were there three weeks ago, and my wife is still talking about the Smothered Chicken.
