From lunch to late night, Rhode Island's original fast food favorite serving our famous hot wieners and coffee milk since 1946!
Have you been searching for an authentic American diner.....?Search no longer, 'cause this place has it all! Swivel stools and mismatched vinyl booths? (check) Tatooed fry cooks and servers with a thick local accent? (check) A questionable bathroom found only after navigating a maze of boxes through the kitchen? (check) A steady stream of regular, first-name-basis customers? (that, too) A menu full of greasy, cheesy, fatty, delicious indulgences? (most definitely!)We had the perfect diner experience at Olneyville New York System Restaurant, I only wish I had known to order a coffee milk. (The beverage selection is not posted, and I only learned about it after-the-fact.)

Wonderful mealâcaprese salad (basal a bit dry) melted in mouth; local oysters were very good (served with interesting shaved ice to cleanse palate). Dinners (Duck three ways; gnocchi with cauliflower, asparagus and peas in a light delicate sauce) were terrific and portions sizable. Excellent serverâMichaela. Wish we lived closer to come here often!

Nuovo is located on the water in Providence. Great location, and it must be a prime seating for Waterfire. We had lunch there; Bolognese pasta and tenderloin risotto. Well done. Good portions.Try to sit outside on the terrace a great view of city from there. Will return.

Picking up family at PVD they suggested lunch at The Grange. I'm always up to try something different so off to TG! I ordered the carrot pastromi sandwich. Smoked carrots, cabbage and what ever they do topped off with thousand island dressing! I was pleasenty suprised at how good it was! Poutine Frites Pulled Mushroom Gravy Cheese and Chives with two eggs couldn't have been better! And finally the Po' Boy ... Wow!So looking for something truly different and really delicious, now's the Time to check out The Grange. It's worth the experience and I promise you won't be disappointed!

We went to dinner on a rainy April night (no surprise itâs April ) we arrived to find the place packed but we were assured it would only be 10-20 minutes and was given the drink list while waiting. We ordered our drinks and they were bright to us in line while waiting on a table. We got our table and a carafe of water and glasses were brought to the table as we pondered the menu. I chose the dashi bowl and so delish I would order this many times over. My wife choose the crispy duck breast which was tender and juicy but could use just a touch more crisping. All in all a great meal and drinks with friends . The atmosphere was a bit loud but not where you couldnât hear your table. Julianâs is a true hidden gem a must try

The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, âonly gotten better with time.â Weâre just one block away
Went to Capital Grille in Providence for dinner during a business trip. Valet parking available. Reservation made through Open Table for 9:30PM, but I arrived an hour earlier than my reservation. I was seated in less than 15 minutes, however, the only available table was near the entrance. If you are working, reading, are dining with others, or are just non-distractible, this is the table for you, if not forgo. Manny, my server, was excellent and Andrew managed my table adeptly. Everyone was attentive, friendly and professional. Although I dined alone, I never felt overlooked for bigger parties, which has happened in the past in other establishments. I dined on Seared Citrus Glazed Salmon With Marcona Almonds and Brown Butter, with sides of Sam's Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. I opted for the smaller side portions. Rated the meal four stars. I wanted to love the Coconut Cream Pie With House Made Caramel Sauce, but sadly it fell short for me as far as taste. I was shocked about that particularly from the number of rave reviews I saw online and that this was their signature dessert. I must say that itâs presentation was awe inspiring and would have satisfied four diners easily. The hostess asked how it was going as well as Mark, the manager(?). At this point I shared my displeasure with the dessert. He offered another, which I declined and he had it removed from my bill. Mark, Manny and Andrew were genuinely dedicated in their customers having a wonderful gastronomic experience. My sincerest appreciation and thanks to you all! I rate the service five stars, food was four and overall a four and a half stars.
