One of Kansas City's oldest restaurants did not disappoint. The service was beyond compare. Adored our waiter who was just attentive enough, funny enough and definitely knowledgeable enough about the menu to make the evening perfect. Loved the shrimp appetizer and our steaks were very good. One slight problem is that they were underdone. My husband sent his back and I wish I had but neither were horrendously rare. All in all a wonderful experience, generous pour on the drinks. We had a lovely time.

The Farmhouse features seasonal and classically creative comfort foods of all types. We hate to waste food; embracing the "tip-to-tail" ideology enables us to work with our local farmers to grow the animals we need and to harvest those animals as they're
The food was delicious. I had a filet with mashed potatoes and morel mushrooms. My wife had a vegetable dish. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. The wait staff was attentive but not too much so. Nice relaxing ambiance. The ingredients are local and seemed very fresh. Menu did seem a little pricey. But the quality offset most of that.

In Kansas City for two nights, on our way to Branson from family reunion in Iowa. Heard about Kansas City Steak, and had to try the 801 Chophouse. Used Uber to get here from our motel. Greeted and we had drinks at the bar. Upon seating at our table, Andrew was introduced and took Great care of us all evening. Great filet, and Ribeye , side of baked potatoes and carrots delivered and cooked to perfection. Great drink and wine selection. Very attentive staff, including managers, and support staff, very attentive and at the table several time throughout the evening . One of the best meals we have experienced while traveling all over the USA. Give the 801 Chophouse a visit, well worth your time !

Very impressive. I had the Salmon with roasted cauliflower and a salad. The salmon was blackened and very delicious. The salad dressing was a homemade tomato vinaigrette and was very good. My husband had brisket sandwich and really loved it also. A lot of meat and very tender. Thank you for the 5 Star Review! We are so happy to hear you and your husband enjoyed your meals. Thank you for choosing Winning Streaks and we look forward to welcoming you back to dine with us in the future!

Trying new places around town and we found Smokin Guns bbq on Diners Drive Inâs and Dives. Very family friendly atmosphere with excellent service. Food was good as well. I particularly enjoyed their smoked bologna sandwich. Great flavor and presentation. Burnt ends were meaty and you received a good portion. Smoked turkey was excellent, not to dry and not too smoky. Baked beans had great flavor and I love them when their thick not runny which these were. Overall excellent time. By the way they have live music outside on the porch on weekends. Definitely worth checking out if youâre in the area!!!

It was my sister's Bday, so we took her and her hubby here for dinner. The stake was not good, too dry. Sea food was cold (king-crab & shrimp). We spent over $300 and our togo box and the bags are worst than Walmart shopping bags. I will never come again.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're sorry to hear your recent dining experience was not as enjoyable as we both would have liked. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and will pass along your comments to the appropriate personnel.

Stopped in without a reservation around 6pm and ordered the calamari appetizer. Really good!! I ordered the cod wrapped in prosciutto. Delish! Waitress is training was great. Her trainer, not so much. Complained to us about having to train. What?? Poor trainee. Unprofessional. All in all I will return! Betsy,Thank you very much for visiting Trezo Mare and thank you for letting us know about the comments your server made There is no place for that at any point so we will have a "coaching moment".I am glad you enjoyed the food and your overall experience.I do apologize for the comments but do appreciate hearing about them.Mike Lee

The friendly staff is always accommodating and helpful. I visit weekly for private, one-on-one conversations and am given ample space in the backroom, regardless of how much (or little) we order. For that alone, I am a huge fan.Additionally, the wait-staff treats every guest like a VIP. I feel like George Brett walking in to Chappell's.The reason for the Royals reference is because Chappell's has a HUGE sports memorabilia collection. You could spend days (maybe weeks) just inspecting all of the sports history, including the KC Athletics, Monarchs, and Kings!Even for those of us not into sports, Chappell's is a great restaurant.

We live 25 miles north and donât have a reason to come to NKC. But we used to come just to eat at Chappellâs and we werenât away of the change in managership/ownership? However, we met up there with family from Texas. First impression was quite a surprise. It seemed dark, the carpet had been removed and just old adhesive on bar area floor, the staff was unfriendly and never smiled. On our first visit visit I tried their Wedge salad. I wasnât impressed nor was the rest of our family with their meal choices. We gave it one more try a few days later and we had their turkey Ruben and pastrami sandwiches with slaw. The sandwiches were very dry with no signs of sauce. The slaw was even dry? Everyone was disappointed with their food again. Oh well, we gave them a second chance. Not third chance for us.so sad for the changes at Chappleâs.

Monday lunch. Webster House is a great location for a business lunch, a wedding, or another special event. We all enjoyed our fresh salads and sandwiches, but four people for lunch ran $90 with no alcohol. The downstairs is a women's clothing store, and the upstairs is the restaurant and meeting rooms. Free street parking or a garage across the street. Attentive service.
