This is a take out based Church's with a walk up and a drive through window. I stopped here on the way through some time back and thought the worker couldn't care less about my business; the food was typical fast food quality. For this stop, the fried chicken strips tasted like I was taking a bite off of a live chicken. Maybe it was under cooked; maybe it had not been properly refrigerated and cooked. But it was inedible. So, I will now skip the Navasota Church's.
I have breakfast here every Tuesday and it's the best breakfast in Grimes County...... bit ole slabs of bacon and good grits, eggs, and pancakes all served up fresh. Come on Tuesday morning at 6:30 pm if you wish to study the Bible and pray with locals.

We were in town for a wedding and needed to catch lunch. Not a whole lot around so we decided to try this one. It is a Mexican Food restaurant. The complimentary salsas they put on the table were very good. They had two different types. The food was average and the prices were midrange. Nothing special. The service what good at first but they were a little slow coming around to check on tables.

Not by any means a "nice" eatery but a clean place that serves up small town goodness. This should be easily noticed by the number of old dirty pickups parked outside. Had the double cheeseburger which was probably a 1/2 pounder, the buns were toasted slightly but soft and fresh inside and fresh vegetables produced a well seasoned burger that was juicy but not greasy. The fries were nice and crispy battered fries. The service at the walk-up counter was very pleasant and friendly. For a guy that grew up in a small town it was awesome!

We stopped here fro lunch. This place earned the title Barn BBQ because the decor left a bit to be desired - sort of a barn that had been converted to a restaurant. The rest rooms reminded us of what you get at a gas station. The brisket and the sausage were very good. The portions were more than ample. Nobody goes away hungry here. The sides were passable but nothing outstanding. But what was the pièce de ré·sis·tance was the blackberry cobbler. Excellent and obviously homemade. We would return to this restaurant for the food. But that would be the only draw.

I have driven past this quaint shop many times and finally made time to stop in for lunch. I am so glad I did. I ordered the salad sampler so that I could try several menu items. Everything on the plate was fantastic. The chicken salad was very good. The tea was also delightful. I had the orange spice house blend due to the cold rainy weather on the day of my visit. It was so warming and enjoyable. I will absolutely dine here again as soon as I am back in the area. I plan to make reservations for the tea service. This place is definitely a winner. We are so happy you decided to stop in and that you enjoyed your lunch at Cafe M Bloomers! Thank you for the wonderful review and we will look forward to seeing you again for our scrumptious tea service.

Donât bother ordering a large sized drink. Itâs not much larger than a medium size but a dollar more. Their iced coffee tastes like they just poured hot coffee over ice. Very watered down flavors. Their Thai flatbread was also mediocre. The peanut sauce does not taste authentic. We did like the tangy Cole slaw that cams with it. The servers were kind.We are sad to hear that you were not satisfied with a number of things as our place. We will look into the iced coffee and make sure our baristas are trained to prepare correctly. We will also make sure that the peanut sauce is being prepared by the recipe. Thank you for your constructive comments. We appreciate that and hope you will come again and have a better experience.Bert Miller
