Find out what American restaurants to try in Napa. Gold and silver may have been behind the hordes that flocked in the 1800s, but liquid gold - Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignons and Pinot Noirs - is behind the modern migration. This dream destination for wine lovers has an abundance of fine restaurants and inns. Horse posts have been replaced by bike racks, and pedal power is a great way to explore.

Enjoy Celadon's award-winning 'Global Comfort Food' in our beautiful dining room or on the lovely courtyard. The seasonally influenced menu features flavors from the Mediterranean, Asia, and the Americas. We are located in the heart of downtown Napa in th
Celadon was a really great restaurant-the host even gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly when he learned we were celebrating an anniversary! Wine selections were fun and tasty, the food variety was great, to include meat, fish and pasta options. We had the signature dish, the lamb, and it was awesome, as was the squash/pear soup of the day. The atmosphere is quite zen-upscale decor but very welcoming. We would totally recommend this restaurant.Hello,We're thrilled that you had a lovely anniversary at Celadon! Thank you for your kind review.

We liked Carpe Diem so much it was the only restaurant we visited twice in the 10 days we were in Napa. Genaro provided great service both times. The salmon with carrot puree was an interesting take and loved it as well as their short ribs. Great wine selection and brewed on premises beer was great, too

We have been there twice this week already and will alter our itinerary to go again before we fly out! Both times we sat at the bar and had the best service. The whole staff is polite, helpful, professional and polished. I have tried the keto scramble and the green eggs and ham. Both were great but the green eggs and ham is magical. My husband warned me about the addictive nature of the donuts so I had one. It was a fabulous breakfast appetizer. My husband had an omelette and the huevos rancheros. Again both were great but he thought the combo of ingredients in the ranchero dish made it a stand out dish. Absolutely make this a stop on your itinerary!

A classic steakhouse in a cool historic building in the downtown area of Napa. We made reservations for a 7 pm dinner after a day of wine tasting. The menu features everything you want in a traditional white linen steak joint-a variety of choice and prime cuts some of which are dry aged, hearty side dishes for sharing and a full bar and extensive wine list.We were seated in an upstairs mezzanine type area which was a bit more cozy given the 25 foot ceiling in this place. Our server was knowledgeable and fairly attentive and they were packed on a Monday night in late October-7:30 seemed to be the most popular reservation time.We feasted on a crunchy wedge salad accented with big gobs of hearty blue cheese then chose filet steaks that were perfectly seasoned and prepared. We ordered hash browns with onions as our side dish and they had a beautiful crunchy crust but were too much for us to finish. Their is also a nice bread course to start things off. My only nit was the lengthy wait for the main courses but I think the kitchen may have gotten a bit overwhelmed with the rush of 7:30 reservations.Bottom line-a great meal if you want some steak

After cancelling an earlier reservation, we were still able to experience Grace's Table and the excellent choices they offered. We went a bit early to take advantage of their Happy Hour offering and did so, but could not resist the Cassoulet from the regular dinner menu. It was outstanding. It was not busy and our server was very friendly and provided an appropriate amount of dialogue / information. Overall, it was an excellent experience and only a couple minute drive from our hotel.

Came here twice during our week-Long vacation in Napa and found this little gem of a place with amazing food, that is so delicious and beautifully presented. Everything about this enchanting little restaurant screams out; take your time here, rest, relax, enjoy. I love this place. I so wish they were a lot closer to my home. Ate the lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh fruit and edible flowers served with maple syrup both timesâso good! My husband got the poached eggs with a side of perfectly cooked bacon. Last time he had the French toast. He had a giant glass of OJ and I had coffee. I repeatâthis is the best place for breakfast brunch in Napa. No contest! And you must see the fabulous bathrooms as well!

The Napa Valley is steeped in sunshine, flavor, and beauty. A simple yet sophisticated place, it's always been about great food and great wine -- no fuss. In the springtime, the mustard flower blooms and covers the Valley floor in a carpet of yellow. When
We had a wonderful dinner at Mustards Grill tonight. Everything was fresh and the menu truly offers something for everyone. I had the Asian chicken salad which was outstanding, and others in our party raved about the ahi tuna sandwiches. We all shared an order of onion rings which were light, crispy and delicious. Portions are generous here and service is also excellent. Those onion rings are so addicting! Thanks so much for swinging by for a tasty meal with all your friends. Hopefully you'll visit again soon for another wonderful evening.Best,The Team at Mustards Grill

Open Daily 11:30am - 8:00pm Happy Hours Tues+Wed: 5:00pm - 7:00pm. We will be closing early, 5 PM, on Dec. 24. Last seating at 3:30 PM. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Days.
Our patio lunch of raw oysters, fried oysters, oyster po boy, seafood soup and clam chowder was excellent. The chowder base of light cream, broth, potatoes and seasonings was the perfect blend to accentuate the fresh clams (in the shell). The dipping marinade for the raw oysters was non-traditional but we increasingly liked it. Of course, lemon and other sauces are available. Meal portions were very large; the waitstaff split one chowder order into two generous bowls. The outdoor seating is preferable due to the indoor noise of the Oxbow Markets. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing break from Oxbow shopping.

The food was fantastic, but outside was empty (inside busier)...very slow.....They also only have half chicken as do many restaurants in Napa...a waste, to end up throwing in the garbage. For a town so interested in paper straws and recycling...why would they want food tossed into waste.
