I love Arby's for their food. I had not been to this Arby's even though I live nearby and thought it would be good after a baseball game was rained out. There were several employees behind the county seeming to have a good time. There was my wife and I and another couple in the building but yet the dining area was filthy. We had to look for the only table that was clean. We waited at our table and was expecting someone to bring our food to the table, but instead I was called to return to the counter. I would have to think twice before reentering this place.

We make the trip between eastern Virginia and central Kentucky one or two times per year. Its 600 miles, so making the entire drive in one day can be tiring. Sometimes we split the drive into two days. For our visit to this Cracker Barrel was one of those times.Completing our visit Sunday afternoon, we departed and drove east. Knowing the stretch along I-64 between Morehead and Barboursville, WV would offer limited places for dinner (beside the usual fast food joints), we decided on an early dinner at Mt Sterling. Cracker Barrel can be trusted for a good meal, so it was chosen. My home is central Kentucky and Iâm a big fan of country ham, only it is slightly different in this region vs. most southeastern states. In KY and TN, it is far less salty than what you find in VA, the Carolinas and GA. Cracker Barrel offers it anytime vs. only at breakfast like many other restaurants if they even have it at all. Knowing it would be quite a while before my return to KY; I gladly ordered and thoroughly enjoyed their country ham for my farewell dinner.
Great way to star the day! The coffee is fantastic especially the Dark Roast! Even the decaf is rich. We love the perfect poached eggs on some hash browns with a little addition here and there can't be beat! Love watching the cook create meal after meal... A really skilled cook. Can't imagine how he keeps it straight.

Delicious and friendly service, I was on the road solo and being a fried chicken expert, can truly say the lunchâ fill up for $5â was fabulous. âJudyâ helped me by giving me the chicken combo wanted without the sides. Excellent food, clean quiet place and access location near the interstate makes this a good stop spot.

We eat here every Sunday morning. I wouldn't even give a bad review if this was the first time our order was wrong since the food is always hot and fresh. This weeks half our order was missing when I got home, last week we got bacon egg and cheese in stead of sausage egg, and the week before that we got smoked sausage instead of maple sausage. I guess I will either have to start checking the bag, or find a new breakfast hot spot.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Stopped at a Cracker Barrel yesterday and reported the hash brown casserole tasted like rice ( I believe it was undercooked). Today my eggs were over cooked and very dried. On top of that, the place was so busy that by the time I got the eggs, they were cold. I did observe that most orders were for biscuits and gravy. Either they are good or people have learned that the biscuits are less likely to be a disappointment like the eggs or hash browns.

Slow service, high prices, food was meh at best. Sad because several people recommended this place to me. Maybe they're going through a slump? Either way, I'm not paying premium restaurant prices for a microwaved hot dog.

Wonderful jewel in downtown Mount Sterling. Their pastries are amazing and also their lunches. Parking is sometimes an issue depending on the day/time. Thank you so much for visiting us. We struggle with parking but hope that it is worth the walk if you use the free city parking. We really appreciate your business.

Parking lot was packed but only had a 20 minute wait. Dinner arrived quick and hot! Salad bar was very popular. Lots of yummy stuff on it. Not sure I would pay as a entree as not allot of protein choices but my daughter added to her chicken dinner and was pleased with the choices at the bar.
