Friendly service, food is average. There's usually not a long wait, however, this is the second time that I have gone and wasn't very impressed with the quality of food. Reminded me of frozen appetizers that could be done better at home.

This used to be a premier local BBQ restaurant but now it's evolved into a mediocre lunch buffet. Food's good but average, and, at the same time, better than the other buffet in town. This is a locally owned/run restaurant and that alone makes it worth going to on occasion. They do have a local fan base albeit not as large as it was when BBQ was the focus.I really miss the BBQ but still go there on occasion. If you're visiting Moultrie it is certainly worth a visit.

As local restaurant goes, this is an historical favorite. It's main focus is BBQ but the do have other items as well.I really wouldn't call their BBQ "great" but it's very good and, more importantly, very consistent. And they have good iced tea, which for a Southern restaurant, is a must. They feature locally made deserts as well, which adds to their charm and local base.If you are visiting Moultrie, definitely put through BBQ Pit on your list. I am local and it's stays on mine.

Our family had four different subs and all were great! Plenty of meat and the additions did not overwhelm the flavors. I would imagine that every sub they make is just as good.Robert, thanks so much for trying us out. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our subs. We look forward to seeing you again sometime soon!! Tiffany/Guest Services

My husband and I were in Moultrie for a funeral and afterward had lunch here. A very good choice! Service was spot on - very prompt. Our server offered options to what we ordered and was helpful with any questions we had. My husband’s white chicken chili was delicious as was my turkey-bacon-Swiss sandwich. He also got the sautéed veggie wrap with the addition of chicken and blackened spices (both offered by our server), and it was quite flavorful. Cheerful service. ✔️ Prompt service. ✔️ Good food. ✔️ Reasonable prices. ✔️ I’d say all expectations were well met!

Blue Sky Grill

Reviewed By BlanqueMange

If you've never been to Moultrie Georgia to see the Christmas lights...it is soooo worth the trip. The town has been putting up the net of lights from town hall to cover the entire square since the 1940's and it is nothing short of spectacular. As a special part of our visit, we went to the Blue SkyGrill and I have to say it was wonderful. My husband had Shrimp Alfredo. It came with a salad and it was delicious. There was plenty of it. There is no way to leave hungry with a meal such as he had. What was especially good is that they sent the meal out with lots of shrimp in the pasta AND the tails were off!! The plate presentation was nice without having to gussy it up with shrimp with the tails on it. The salad was a nice size to compliment the meal. I had the redfish - grilled with sweet potato chips and the salad. The redfish was tender and sweet and grilled to perfection. I didn't find a single bone. I wanted something different than what I usually eat when I go out and I was not at all disappointed in the fish. The sweet potato chips were wonderfully thin and crispy and were the best I've ever had. The salad was, as I said, the right size for the meal. The meal was started off with a loaf of brown bread, similar to the kind that comes to the table at Outback. It was warm without being crunchy and the butter was light and airy. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickle chips. Oh, they were perfect...the best we've had in years, and in fact, even better than the first orders of fried pickle chips we'd discovered in the St. Pete Beach area of Florida. The chips were thin, the batter was delicate and no seasonings in the better over took the dilly tang of those pickles. While we had iced tea with our meals, for those so inclined, they have a nice looking bar that I'm sure will happily provide you with some wonderful libations. A young man named Jake was our waiter. He was attentive without being obnoxious or obsequeious. He did exactly what he said he would do and went out of his way to get us directions to a different highway than we came into town on for our trip back home to Alabama. In fact...we were checked on frequently, not only by Jake, but by others on staff. Talk about being made to feel like a customer instead of a nuisance. We are looking forward to going back next year to see the lights and we will make our visit just as special treating ourselves to another supper at Blue Sky Grill.

Every time we have dined at The Square the service was friendly, prompt, and our waitress had full knowledge of menu items. Food, drink and atmosphere are upscale southern home-style at its best. Favorites are the pork belly, pork steak, cheese board, schnitzel, salmon, tuna...every appetizer and entree I have eaten at The Square was delicious. Wine Nights are fabulous at The Square!
