Moorpark was founded in 1900 when the application for the Moorpark Post Office was approved and Inocencio C. Villegas was named Moorpark's first postmaster on August 8 of that year. The townsite of Moorpark was owned and surveyed by Robert W. Poindexter and his wife, Madeline. The town has experienced a great amount of growth since the late 1970s. The population was 34,421 at the 2010 census, up from 31,415 at the 2000 census.

Typical Subway - good food for a decent price.... particularly when they have specials going on...! Which is usually the case with several of their sandwiches.

We were with 6 others, all first time.Everything was excellent, server was excellent in trying to please us, humorous.They have different buffets depending on which night or Sunday brunch. Best is the Prime Rib/Roast Turkey on Saturday night for $22. They also have BBQ night, etc. Always call - for reservations - as well as a few days before reservation date to ensure that what you want IS going to be served that night.We had the Prime Rib, which was EXCELLENT. The carver tried his best to try to get the type of cut that you want. Salad bar was very fresh, strictly veggies. Dessert was primarily pies and cakes. Only 'complaint' was we did wish they had fresh fruits as part of the salad bar, as there were a few of us that did not/cannot have the sweet desserts, and really would have preferred fruits. Server went in and had some fruits cut up especially just for us - twice! Really liked the service.

This Denny's is located in a large parking lot of a strip mall. The service was slow. I had to beg for a refill of my Coke. The food was edible (at best) when it finally came. I paid and was glad to leave.

Back in 2006 when this place opened it was pretty good.I was a regular, eating there at least once a week.It went downhill fastThe food is mediocre and over priced. It takes forever to get your order.Last but not least the staff acts like any request is an imposition.Bottom line- Skip it unless you are starving and need a side of attitude with your meal.

This place rocks! Great vibe, food, and beverages. They have entertainment on some nights as well. Right across the street from the Metro Link station, so a great stop either before or after your trip if done during open hours.

The grinder offers a diversified menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve alcohol and have a variety of delicious drink selections. The chefs salad is one of my favorite take out meals. Atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, clean and the service is good. Highly recommend.

This diner was my first experience of an American diner, having only previously seen them on TV. During my maiden visit to the US it was suggested that I visit here for breakfast with a colleague. The establishment is interesting (to me at least!) with plenty to look at on the walls, a good menu, pleasant staff and most importantly - tasty food. Had to try the biscuits and gravy as I had seen this dish on the hotel menu and couldnât believe what I was reading, for a Brit biscuits and gravy is a very strange combination. In fact people in the UK still donât believe me! Verdict - preferred the bacon & eggs Would recommend the Cactus Patch

Lemmos Grill is close to my office and I have visited a number of times. Located in the Von's shopping center this medium sized local restaurant has top end quality food. The Ahi Tuna salad was huge with lots of tuna, homemade dressing , a mixture of greens and mandarin orange slices. The perfect item for a warm day. The steak salad was heavy with beef complemented by a warm chimichurri sauce. Reported as excellent. Plenty of parking. Warm friendly service. They have a big menu with major items for lunch and an elegant dinner.Highly recommended.

Our server was very friendly and helpful - we had the barbecue chicken potato skins as a starter...you could easily make it a meal as it was so good - there were two to the order. We also found the baby back ribs and the pulled pork both very tasty. Good sauce. Convenient mall parking.
