Stopped here while visiting Family. Service was kind if slow but the place was a little busy. I got the cheeseburger and the fried peach pie....both were delicious. If your in the area and are looking for a non-chain restaurant then I would suggest this place.

I grabbed a fish dinner to take home for lunch yesterday. It included several fried fish filets, fries, baked beans, jalapeño hush puppies, roll, and banana pudding. They had other food options, but that's what I chose. That was a lot of food for under $10. They are only open for lunch and the menu is slightly different each day. Great delicious food!

Donât be fooled! While the exterior of the place doesnât look that inviting, the interior of the space has plenty of seating with some comfy areas as well. The coffee was very good as was the Lemon Blueberry muffin.

We had breakfast at Huddle House with our oldest daughter, her son and his wife. We each ordered different menu items. Each entree was satisfactory, but certainly not exceptional. My entree came with eggs, bacon, hash browns and a waffle. My waffle didn't appear until I had almost finished the rest of my meal. I asked that my hash browns be cooked extra crispy. They weren't. Our coffee cups remained empty for a period of time before our server refilled them. There has to be better options for breakfast in Monticello. Will be searching for them during future visits.
